To add on abit more info on the Napoleon dislike, there definitely are a bunch of peoples that are expecting historical "short" Napoleon only to get smack in the face by Shonen Protag Napoleon and got turn off by this take/portrayal of him.

tldr: Quick DPSs absolutely ate good this year, but Quick supports are still behind Art and Buster. FGO's gameplay relies heavily on supports and that's why people think "Quick is bad" despite it being not really true. With all the quick dps released (Monte Cristo, Kuonji Alice, Biscione...) and buffed (Kama, Baobhan Sith, Melt...) this past year , I definitely don't think quick team is underpower. However, I think the notion people have about "Quick being bad" is because for the longest time, they didn't release a new quick support or, buff old quick supports. The former was somewhat levitated with the coming of KazuraDrop and Louhi but that was a recent thing. And even then, they were more like sub-dps rather than a traditional supports (someone who only buffs your team and contributed little to no damage). Considering this game's heavy reliance on op supports, where you having meta supports (Castoria, Koyanskaya, Oberon) will completely changes the way you play the game, quick team just feels left out because of this. All we have is just Skadi and-... Skadi (Osakabehime would have been here if not for a fact that she's such a brick every time you put her in your team. Trust me, I tried. She can work in a team designed specifically for her, but then it wouldn't be a quick team, it'll be Osakabehime team). Don't even let me start on the F2P team building, I struggled every time I'm trying to build a quick budget team because of the lack of quick supports. Alexander and Zhang Jue are the only explicit quick f2p supports and they both are severely underpower. Not counting universal supports (like Hans for example), we can choose a plethora of art f2p supports (Xufu, Mozart, Paracelsus, Mary Anning, Boudica...) and a good decent amount of buster f2p supports (Chen Gong, Leonidas, Paul Bunyan,...) but we only have TWO mediocre quick f2p supports?? And then they even gave Asclepius and Phantom an AOE art up?? Really?? Where was this generosity with quick f2p supports? It's undeniable that the quick f2p support rosters are severely lacking, both in term of variety and power. Why can't we gave them some buffs like that? Which comes to my next point that I often have to use my quick dps with universal supports (Hans, Mata Hari, Ruler Da vinci, Santa Martha,...) and sometimes even Xu Fu (she's just that good, even with a quick dps) to build a team, and I don't find that very fun. Maybe that's the point of a quick team: You're supposed to mix your cards to get the best result, and playing like year one Jack the Ripper where you only click QQQ was a bad idea. I get it, but I just want Quick to stand on its own and have a set of supports for every playstyle like other card types. Why do we only have the option to go fast with Skadi? Why can't we go slow like we did with art and buster team? We already have Osakabehime for slow quick team and you just need to buff her to do that. You guys often say you don't want every card types to play the same, but Osakabehime team plays nothing like Castoria team or Merlin team, the reaction was a bit misplaced tbh. The only problem is that Osakabehime SUCKS in a quick team and they haven't buff her for years, leaving quick in the dust, as usual. *Copium* one day when Osakabehime + quick dps + Skadi team was actually viable, where Osakabehime's np can heal and block the boss's normal attack, and Skadi's np can block the boss's np *Copium*. The only problem is that there's no way you can get both Osakabehime and Skadi to np the second time *Sadge*

Oberon is such a good character, but yeah, if you're just starting the game, Waver is unironically a more appealing choice (specially because his defense buffs are actually huge in the early game) to start beating the game. For Oberon to start to be great, you need to start getting the tools to be able to Loop, and outside of getting even more 5 Star Supports (that is the only way to do Loops with Buster and Quick), the sooner you're could be able to do it is when you start getting F2P Supports that help you with gains and stuff (like say Xu Fu or Paracelsus post buff, for some random example)

Give Saber(Artoria) 40(self) attack up on 1st skill and she'll be ballin. She should do more or similar damage compared to Melusine.

Karna is the perfect candidate to get a lore buff that’s actually gameplay relevant. Buff his second skill to 30% Buster for 3 turns, NP dmg changed to 1 time 3 turns, and add a special shield effect that reduces damage by 80% (his armor in lore does this) 3 times 3 turns. But if he uses his NP, each shield stack gets consumed for an extra %10 NP damage or smth

Ivan and Cleo for me will be at least 3, cuz i don’t hate them for no reason and appreciate their top tier performance in their class with ability to FARM and clear CQs!!! If you say that they are boring then 90% of other servants are even more boring LOL! + My np3 Cleo on NA obviously doesn’t have the recent buff, yet she is my go to AOE assassin since here release (and i dont have only Semiramis and Huyan Zhuo which i did try out few times).

Quick is bad cause no one uses Quick cards, even when using a Quick unit. The problem doesn't come from Looping, it comes from Quick being ment for consistent crits in a game where crits are inherently inconsistent. The biggest problem is Koyan making Buster crits more consistent than some Quick unit's crits. Mighty Chains didn't make Quick good, they made Quick NPs good cause you'll make enough stars and then you just use Arts and Buster for NP gain and damage. Summer Skadi just made things worse by making Quick's star gen irrelevant. And Ryou's point about only considering game balance at top level is stupid, forcing people to adopt a playstyle they don't like will only make them quit. I don't care about TAs or Challenge Runs, let me spam Quick cards and snowball through sudostall. But I can't cause no Quick support has any sort of consistent team protection. Base Skadi has no self damage buffs except the defense down, so you never want to touch her cards, and Summer Skadi, who does have self damage buffs has 0 team protection. To actually play the game for more than 5 turns with a Quick unit basically requires you use a different card types support. Overall, Quick is bad cause it was supposed to have the lowest base, but highest ceiling, but over time Arts and Buster's base got put only a little under Quick's ceiling.

I think more people would use a quick Merlin than you think. I understand from your perspective (people who play the game at the highest level, you guys shouldn't have to pretend like you don't) such a unit may not do anything but plenty of people like to play slow even if they character or card type they're building a team around doesn't want to. I don't think it should be made to be as good as Arts/Buster - total homogeneity of playstyle between card types would take away from the game and more powercreep is the last thing we need right now. But I think there's room allow for nonoptimal playstyles especially given that this is a single player game. Personally speaking, it would be cool if I could take melt into a story quest and play it slow to enjoy the music and the fight generally without feeling like I have to gimp my team to do so. Love the podcast as always, keep it up!

10:20 Questionable argument in my opinion. Min turning capabilities are also based on how invested in that unit you are. A slow but consistent arts team will always be more reliable than trying to min turn with NP1 Quick units. Some people, like myself, prefer to get few copies, but more servants im general ( in my case mostly because i'm broke XD). In these cases, Quick will always be worse

15:28 I've been watching a JP loremaster's streams, and he mentioned that Japan has this magazine about dragon folklore around the world. One issue claimed that Biscione is considered to be the same kind of entity as the Vouivre. The Vouivre is supposedly described as having a large chest, so if the designer saw that info he might have interpreted it as a huge rack rather than just a chest that's simply notably prominent. It's worth noting however that the magazine is quite sketchy given that it's also made blatantly wrong claims such as modern crocodilians being closely related to dinosaurs (they're not - birds are the closest relatives to dinosaurs, while crocodilians already existed alongside dinosaurs back in prehistoric times implying they split off from them before even that). As for the animation itself, you guys do realise she's floating above the ground in the animation right? 46:43 Y'all are forgetting Asclepius (snake trait), who's an Arts support now. He's nearly on par with Xu Fu, but has 10% less battery and his battery's bundled with his Arts buff which can be inconvenient.
