@@MicrostockDroneChannel Currently 98 videos on Adobe. I have 7 pending review. Shutterstock's at 140 videos. Pond5 just approaching 200. iStock is at 74. Had to slow down a little over winter because of wind storms. I started this around the tail end of summer. I have a hdd back in England (currently in Georgia) that has a silly amount of files I could upload once I go back and get it. I used to fly my drone all over the place and shoot things just for fun without making the connection that I could be uploading them on microstock sites! I shot a lot of the tourist hotspots of Tbilisi over the end of summer so I'm curious if those will start picking up soon over the tourist season. But I'm uploading everything from nature, development, to industry. Whatever I can upload, basically.

@@ziaurrehman9034 Thank you, I would recommend drones from DJI, try to get the best model you can afford in order to prevent rejections due to image quality. Check out one of my montly earnings videos, there you will see all the earnings per agency, so which pays most etc.

Hi, welcome, taxes is not so difficult and you dont need to have a KVK, there are some benefits when you do. But You can just declare on your yearly income declaration.

@@MicrostockDroneChannel Do you just count together income from all agencies, and declare that? And do you subtract things like travel costs, gear etc ?

@@mzk7774 Yes indeed, I substract, kilometers and investments like new gear. I keep all the receipts, Most agencies give pretty good insight in earnings, So I have a large spreadsheet with all my earnings per month, per agency.

I use ChatGPT and Shutterstock keywording tool. I Use stocksubmitter to submit to multiple platforms at once.

Thank you, I use StockSubmitter to upload to many agencies at once. Essential to reach high numbers of uploads. Next to this I upload manually to agencies that dont support Stocksubmitter: WIrestock (No keywording necessary) and Blackbox.

Thank you, I have been in Brazil, but that was a bit before my drone adventures. Maybe one day, why not. There are intresting places for Microstock.

Hi Paula, thank you. Good question, I experienced that for exampel the most touristic places can be a bit harder to sell, my assumption is that there is more content already of these locations available on marketplaces, as lots of people captured it already. On the other hand there is always the possibily to capture good selling microstock anywhere. I'm sure. My Dad acutually moved to Brazil in a remote area, he took some pictures of a dirt road, I uploaded it for him and it sells. Why not in Brazil, If you want to go there, just go and try to make the best of it.

£80 is quite a low number to buy a reasonable good camera drone. I suggest looking at DJI drones, as it is the Apple/ Microsoft among drones. Second hand may come close, Try to get a good of drone as possible (Larger image sensor etc.) In order to be able to generate the best content you can. This will result in higher income. See it as an investment, you will earn the money back over time.

@@bananaukra3235 I made videos about my microstock journey, two of my earliest videos. My first drone was a DJI air 2, it had a small camera sensor, so I would got quite some rejection when uploading because of technical image quality, especially in low light conditions, you could see lots of digital noise in the video. That was very frustrating, now i got one of the better ones from DJI, 99% of my files get accepted and look good. DJI drones and i dont mean FPV dtones are pretty safe, and easy to operate, small chance of crashing.

Hi TaiwanVisuals, thank you for your reply. Yes I still think it's worth it. As I made really good progress in 2024. A good amount of that came from AI training, like the invention of the internet, lots of people where affraid of it taking their jobs, instead it created more jobs and possibities. Im not affraid of AI, it is already helping me keywording. Making me more productive than ever before. Go for it I would say, money to be made for sure.

No release, if there are logo´s I upload as editiorial. I upload unique files to Blackbox, as well as Wirestock.

@ how do you know what to upload on each? And do you think it’s worth to stick with just blackbox as they already share on multiple agencies?

@@RobertoVolta Yes, I think its worth it as, Blackbox is making good money per file uploaded! Wirestock a bit less, but also good, benefit is no keywording work.

Hi Reinhold, the data centers are almost all commercial because there are no logo´s in sight. I also have some universities, I did put them in editorial. Over time I build an experience of judging if editorial or not, remember it´s also people doing the reviews, and can be sometimes inconsequent. I usually have multiple videos of 1 sight. I upload some of this larger batch and then find out if rejected or not. I believe 95 - 98% of my files are accepted.

@@MicrostockDroneChannel If there is no logos in the Data center clips, do you include the location and name of data center in title and keywords or just keywords? or you leave it out of in case agency might consider it editorial then and reject clip, since you submitted it as commercial?

@@reinholdsnulle4042 I upload multiple clips, no company name, location yes. Just create 10 clips all give slight variations in keywords and titles and you can find out yourself.

@@ziaurrehman9034 If there are intellectual protected sights, like company names in the frame, yes. But there also a lot of industrial sites that are suitable to upload as commercial.

Hi Reinhold, I understand that Blackbox is uploading to other microstock agencies. In each drone session I make multiple videos, some go exclusive to Blackbox and some to other agencies. So If I go to film a windturbines and make 10 videos, 3 can go to Blackbox, 3 to Wirestock and 4 to my other agency portfolios, like Shutterstock, Adobe Stock etc.

@@MicrostockDroneChannel I understand your point of view and hope agencies do too. There is a pretty thin line there (not hating what and how you do, just writing this info, cause I am a long time contributor to BB and try to do the right thing and not get into trouble on my own 🤣), they have written in their tules, that similar clips from same session kinda counts as same clips (can't remember word for word tho. Hope it all works out for you :)

In stocksubmitter I make 1 title, description and keywords and make slight variations in keywords for a file from the same session. Then upload to all connected agencies with one click at separeted review rounds, to avoid similar content rejection. In Blackbox I come up with a new titles and keywords, as it's a different uploading system, I can also copy some elements from Stocksubmitter. In Wirestock, just a title, they do the keywording. So my content covers a wide range of keywords, through multiple platform.

@William_PC Great, thank you. What you mention is one of my theories, they also might have higher search rankings and ofcourse its the earnings of more than one agency combined. So they basically build a money making system that takes 15% commission for copy pasting.

What it comes down too, is to be as efficient as possible, keep the editing process simple, use uploading tools like Stocksubmitter to upload to multiple agencies, so you have to do keywording only once, use keywords tools, like Chat Gpt or the one from Shutterstock and make uploading a daily habbit for a longer period of time. As long as this is true, there are some parts, that you might be interested. My friend recently (in this year's December) bought my clip on SS for 50eur (plus 10eur sales tax, but it isn't applied to earnings dor your clip) and received 16 dollars. Do the math, it seems, that even at the end of year BB is not on highest SS tier, hovever, they might have a standard % throughout the year, but a regular person's tier resets on January.

1. Yes you can, but if you do, dont check the box "exclusive", 2. Pond5 exclusive, means you only upload to 1 agency and that is POND5, no other agencies.

Yes you can, but if you do, don't apply as Exclusive. Exclusive contributor means your uploading only to 1 microstock agency. Pond5 rewards exclusive contributor bij giving 10% more royalties and some other benefits.

One is better than none :)
