@@c-flat your content shows a great deal of effort, but if it’s not met with an equal degree of social engagement and criticality from your peers, friends and associates. it’s likely to present as desperate and deprived. If you’re showing up on poorly done green screens and random backgrounds attempting to convey some obscure feeling of “Edginess or Outsider-ism” Then unfortunately I’ll be the bearer of bad news and say that your general message has been lost on the public. You need to involve more people and put more ‘message’ into a format that’s more digestible. You’ve been left with strangers that have happened upon you by sheer chance to give you their brutally honest opinions and that’s not a good place to be. If you can’t set up a solid group of people to do music with you then I would highly recommend you get yourself employed, and fraternise amongst the people, so that you might find someone who relates with you enough to create something meaningful. Store your creative energy and nurture it to fruition, but for the love of god don’t sell it out on cheap swipes with quick tricks. You do genuinely seem to have an ability to do better than what you’re presenting, so for the love of god put it on show. Look every creator is subject to criticism. I just hope that, rather than bring you down, this comment helps to guide you in a more positive direction. This is coming from a fellow musician. Just involve more people dude. Happy new year <3

Thanks for taking the time for honest feedback. I really do appreciate it. And I am happy to provide additional information on the situation. I do work day jobs, however I am currently waiting for my next contract to start, which should commence within the next month. Plus, on the social side of things... despite having aspergers and social anxiety issues, I still do regularly attend open Mic's where I perform, and I also perform in lots of public places (same places as buskers, but not asking for money). To specifically find band members, I even made up flyers and took them to colleges, music stores, alternate cloths stores, and alternate venues. All places were wonderfully supportive and put the flyers up and some shops/venue even posted the flyer on their social media sites. The local college music teachers even made additional copies of the flyers and distributed to all music classes them for me. With regards to the short form content, a lot of that you see here was repurposed and originally made for and posted on TikTok. For there it was fit for the purpose. It is supposed to have a low quality "DIY" vibe, and not be polished, as it served as encouragement and inspiration for other artists. They say to themselves "well, if he can do that then so can I" and then they actually did do that which they have been procrastinating. I know this, because they messaged me and quite literally told me. I actually have a rather large supportive community there who call themselves "the wizzies", and through their support justifies my website and merch store. Plus through TikTok many musicians have shown great interest and wanted to join the band, but they are all overseas and no one local to me. So if I tour I could find fill in band members in each country if needed, but that does not help with local members unfortunately. With regards to widescreen long form content. It's only been the past 2 months I've shifted my focus to UA-cam, and wide format content, and realized quickly I am woefully under-equipped. I have no camera or expensive mic, or a PC with enough grunt to run any editing app properly. Plus the knowledge and skill for long form content is completely different. However...... The best way to learn to swim is in the water. So I'm jumping in now. I will slowly upgrade my equipment and knowledge. Plus hopefully the more I am seen online, band members will find me. But I have no intention on waiting around for the time to be right and everything to be perfect before starting.... as that will only lead to life passing one by. I hope this additional information helps paint the larger picture. And I truly do appreciate the time you took with your comment, I know your intentions are good, and in no way did I take your comment as you trying to bring me down. I totally agree, and its not just America. The same is happening in all the "free" countries, predominantly the western cultures. The exact same is happening here in Australia. But history tells us there is always a tipping point, and then massive change. eg the French Revolution, and we had similar here with the Eureka stockade. . "Viva la revolución" :)

I will be starting to use it as of next week. But before I got slugged with the watermark, I was above to finish over 25 long form videos, and 60 or so short form pieces (some being re-posts). So I have now scheduled 2 short forms clips a day, and long form clip every 2nd day, and that schedule is fully loaded until the end of Jan (and beyond for the short form content)
