Hey IO, elrs wasn't around when I made that video. It is just showcasing the difference in receiving the analogue video signal between the built-in receiver from the EV800D and the Rapidfire module.

Hey Mathews, just the kit without the Radio system was 120$ (motor/servo/lights included), about 150$ with the receiver & Lipo. This Jeep is one of the cheapest kit's you can buy.

There's some exoskeletons on shapeways for this kit. Several options.

@@DMarko22 I have a build coming up on one. Gonna build the stock OH35A01 JEEP and use one of the exoskeletons with it and not go crazy with the upgrades like I did my first one. Kinda keeping it as a budget build instead of budget breaker!

But it is literally self explaining, just plug them into the receiver box and the LED'S themselves into the corresponding light buckets front and rear. Only thing to do, the light buckets are closed with plugs, take them out and you are ready for installation.

Hi there, I had a similar problem but on the front. It seemed that the shaft became somewhat rough like through abrasion, but just this one. I've bought a new set of camber knuckles, that fixed that for me. Or it could be the shaft that connects the shock arm to the body. Could be a too tight fit maybe? If that makes any sense

To be honest, the black spoiler already fell of and I got (my mistake though) a broken windshield. So...you are quite right. But the body's are really pretty, and if you take care of them you'll be fine.

Absolutely, get them! I'm still not convinced to get another set of goggles, got the immersionrc powerplay for better dvr recording and soon I'll upgrade to hdzero and I'm good for another year or so. I guess that the receiver is going bad in your 800's, keep them for testing Video or betaflight settings on your workbench, way more convenient then to put goggles on and off all the time. I’m struggling with the same decision. I found a set of hd3’s for 180 .. or EV800D for 75. Sounds like the ev’s are better quality but bad range and not for racing. Sucks that Fatshark didn’t use nicer screens for analog

Jaaaaa er lebt noch, er lebt noch, der Devastator leeeebt noch 😁😅😅😅 Leider kommt der an die umgebauten nicht heran, die sind einfach zu sehr auf crawlen getrimmt. Der Devastator ist eher noch im Haus unterwegs, Kissen, Schreibtisch usw. Grüßle an den Norden 👋🏻

Man kann den auch gut modden, hab alles an Elektronik plus Akku tiefergelegt, bessere Reifen mit etwas Blei aufgezogen und nun kann man damit auch rock crawlen. Geiles Teil 😄

@@DMarko22 hab ich direkt auch gemoddet, Gewicht an den Reifen 25g und Karosserie tiefer gelegt 🤟 zusätzlich hab ich jetzt Rearsteering separat gelenkt bekommen mit nen zusätzlichen mini Steeringwheel 🍀
