You have to earn an A Rank on Professional Mode, however, you can acquire it on a NG+ ... so it'll be much easier if you beat Professional with any rank, using the money trick to build up your funds then blitz the game on NG+ Professional and earn a much easier A Rank... Yeah :/ because it was glitched. They use the DC camera angles as default for this remaster, so you have to delete the folder with those backgrounds, otherwise Jill's shortcut door won't work... kind of stupid really but meh.

Well yeah obviously that's the math behind it and how it works. The issue is, it's all happening behind the scenes and there's no concrete status screen in this game that shows how much the damage is being reduced. It took data miners to discover this trick by finding the actual values that get adjusted... I explain this in the video as someone actually broke it all down, but yes, that's precisely how the game calculates it... it basically reduces damage just past 100%, it's like 104% or something if you equip the proper rosary relics and boom, you're basically invincible so long as you have less than like 10% life.

@@wixa_dm Yeah they never patched it out because this game is basically abandonware at this point... I bought it well after it's initial release, like nearly 2 years after it came out because it looked really unpolished. The dev's already finished making Blasphemous II, it's being released soon, I think. I doubt they're going to make the same mistake twice in the next one... but either way, cheers buddy, glad it helped you. I legit hate games like this... the artificial difficulty due to shitty ass controls pisses me off big time... it's basically just a 2D Dark Souls... the thing is, I love the gothic style and music of games like this but the game play is always cock and ball torture.

Dreadwolf, Infernal Castle, either drop or steal... the encounter rate is abysmal... you could just hack it with a trainer or use cheat engine. Or you could spend like 200 hours farming them, your call. Here's a spreadsheet, go to the bestiary section and use the search function to look for the jams... Yeah I wasn't a fan of it honestly, it was a giant pain in the ass... I used a trainer to beat it on PC because it was such a fucking headache... I found out this information after I had finished the game so I figured I'd help people playing on console because you guys can't cheat without modding your system.

@@iseenamandie Fling makes the best game trainers. You could also try searching for cheat engine tables... those work as well but they tend to get outdated quickly when the game gets patched.

Never buy them if you're planning on selling them back to him because they're only worth 10K sell value. Those pay2win gold tickets from the marketplace sell for 80K if you bought those with real money... Those are worth selling if you're doing a professional S+ run. If you buy 5 of them you can almost max out your Chicago at the first merchant... I think you can get it to power level 4 with the exclusive upgrade.

Yes, this is exactly what I do in the video... I get the Chicago and get the exclusive upgrade but it takes the entire village section and part of the Castle to earn enough spinels to buy it. They've recently added DLC that allows you to purchase these gold upgrade tickets for real money... Which basically makes this video kind of pointless now as anyone can do it quite easily. This video was made 2 or 3 days before they released that DLC. Everyone was complaining how hard Professional mode was so they basically allow you to purchase cheats now.

@@NeoRizer yeah I meant if u max upgrade the weapon from a previous playthrough it won't carry over right? Cause it's a new game, so u have to upgrade it again and get the exclusive upgrade again

@@pg5650 You can't get an S+ rank on a NG+... that's the whole gimmick of this one. But yes anything you max out will carry over to a NG+... but the highest rank you can get is S... and most of the best unlocks are tied to S+ ranks.... like the Cat Ears for infinite ammo...which is what this video is about.

I agree it's shit, RE4 was never meant for speed running... unfortunately they force you to do it on a NG and not a NG+... If the requirements were different it would be much easier but seeing as you have to do it from a fresh save, the only thing you can do is use the accessories / bonus weapons you already unlock to help you out.

That varies... if you take damage or use a lot of ammo and carry around guns other than the infinite Chicago, you're probably gonna find less Peseta's. The game adjusts the drops from barrels based on your needs at the time. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I was just trying to min/max the money earned. Like I said, I made about 3.5 million but realistically, you're going to make around 2 - 2.5 million...which I stated in the video... but percentage wise... it's negligible...like maybe less than 5%. I would say use whatever colored case you feel you need to. The red herb case really comes in handy actually. I found about 15 loose green herbs in the game and I didn't have red herbs to mix them with so I just combined them in to G+G+G mixtures... which was kind of a waste. The money profit trick kind of nullifies the need to even max out your peseta's really. What you want to do is save at least 1 million before Saddler, buy F. Aid Sprays with it and then sell them on your NG+ Professional run and you'll triple it and you can buy the infinite launcher right after the first lodge... it costs 2 million, you can turn 1 million in F. Aid Sprays in to 3 million.

Last question: have u experimented with picking up pesetas with and without the gold case equipped? Curious how much more u get with it equipped per drop.

@@WinstonWolfe21 Yeah I never really went that deep in to it. It's your call, you do what you wanna do with your stuff. I forgot the Gold case was a pre-order thing otherwise I wouldn't have even used it... but I mean, it adds up over time if you use it the entire game and don't take too much damage like I said.. If I had to take a guess for the value difference.... If you make a million pesetas in a run just looting with the Gold case, you'll probably make like 950,000 without the case... so it's like a 5% differential... like I said, it's negligible.

Yeah basically do your assisted run, go minimalist to save cash, do the first aid spray trick and max everything out on your NG+ Professional mode and buy your infinite launcher... You can't get the S+ rank on a NG+ run any way but you get an S or A Rank using the infinite launcher. If you get an A Rank you will unlock the Chicago Sweeper, Armored Ashley and Hunks Mask to use Aim Assist on Hardcore / Professional... and those items don't effect your rank and they're available to use on any play through there after...NG or NG+. I have an S+ Speedrun guide on my channel using the infinite Chicago trick ua-cam.com/video/DhhIr02bFz8/v-deo.html It's still very grueling trying to get through the village but if you want the Cat Ears accessory (infinite ammo for all guns) you have to get an S+ Rank on a NG Professional run... you can't do it on NG+. Not sure, I have the full game, I bought it for like 3 bucks on Humble Bundle or something.

Unfortunately no... I can't find an OST for this game at all... it's all played on an emulator and I just recorded me standing still on other videos to get the music, but yeah that's why I didn't do a music video for this because it's pretty much the battle itself... sorry about that.
