I've watched a few videos on this model since I'd really like to buy one, and it really seems to me that it's a shame that it doesn't have flaps. Have you considered or tried configuring your radio for a flaperon configuration? I'd love to know how effective that would be. Reverse thrust would be nice as well, especially since the landings are fairly hot without flaps.
@@HubbAeroplane I have flaperons programmed but haven't felt the urge to try them yet since my flying spots have lots of paved runway.

Man i just can't dig those gyros 😂. All a personal preference 👍 great tunes!
I'm slowly weaning myself off of them by doing whole flights outside of safe, generally using my beater planes. I still crash more than my fair share, ha!
@@danielwoehr2733 it's just a preference in my eyes. Some like helicopter, some like jets...some like gyros. Heck, I wish I would have had one when I started out. Keep the fun happening, however you like!
Sometimes Physics still outruns my eyes and reflexes, so Safe intercedes...however crash videos and investigations are morbidly fun in their own way.

Yes, they are still available directly from Alfa at a remarkably low price point even with shipping to the states. Received my P-39 not long ago! Wanted an Alfa for 20+ years now!

@@8poundquark ouch. The P-39 was $45 usd for me here in the states. I opted for airmail shipping and order came out to $117 total shipped.
You didn't use a gyro did you? Btw its an A320
I used an AR 630 Rx where I was popping in and out of Safe. It was windier out than forecast, and I didn't have my AS3X gain knob tuned in properly, so it appeared the pilot drank too much coffee. Now if someone will just come out with a Frenchy song saluting Airbus...

RC pilots call any normal stall a”tip stall”. I don’t there’s an RC pilot anywhere who knows what a tip stall really is.

I'm flying less and less in safe but always do maidens in safe until up high enough to trim. Or when really windy w small planes, lots of safe time. But I'm doing some whole flights without it.
I loved watching you fly with the Safe off. I never had any safe controls on any of my planes because they didn’t have it back when I could fly. It made you learn to play with the wind and actually fell the air currents up in the air. It’s a real thrill that’s hard to explain but now you have had a taste of it. Did your cub have ailerons on it I couldn’t tell. I still have a sport cub which was from the factory with ailerons. They are nice easy planes to fly and you can do a lot of flips and rolls with no safe controlling you.
The Cub just didn't have the power for the crosswind I was trying to take off in. I shold have just turned it 90 deg and taken off perpendicular to the 3 lane street.

Much easier on Dynam retracts. I asked them to consider offering wound torsion spring struts as service parts for all their retract planes. Then I'd do more grass ops.

I flew 2 hilltops. The second one was a little flatter and easier to land on. The uphill landing on the first one wasn't too graceful!

@@danielwoehr2733 The "Music Mafia" (I started that label) is alway crying and complaining,. No matter what you play someone is going to get offended and Boycott your selection. Even if I hate the Track selected.... I simply hit the Mute,. But these armchair "Genius's are not that smart, so they Complain, Whine and Cry. I just shake my head at how trivial they make something so Pre-School Simple.
I will comment on the music in a different way,. Not what I would have used but remember it as a kid growing up. And yes I get there would be no sound from goPro and it would seem more uneventful. Everyone forgets there is a Mute and Volume button(learn to use them)

That rear facing footage showed exactly what happened. You wrenched it off the ground before it was at flying speed then didn’t even attempt to use the rudder! LEARN THAT LEFT STICK
Us fixed wing pilots who crossed over from helicopters in the 90s, we know about this ha ha.
