Karl Urban is an actor. Fans casting someone based on their look in one role always baffles me. Wrestlers are not trained film actors. Not to say they're bad actors, but most of them started off rough. Karl has the range to give Johnny Cage a true persona. But fans would rather see The Miz play himself as Johnny Cage. History has shown time and time again that fans don't know s**t. They thought Michael Keaton, Heath Ledger, were bad ideas for Batman and Joker and were infinitely wrong.
Agreed all the actors in the first movie were C listers and nobodys so I'm glad they doing right with Jonny and bring in a actual good and accomplished actor
