2015 Chevy Cruze Brake Pads and Rotors
2015 Cevy Brake pads and rotors replacement. Someone tried to replace the pads on this vehicle and did not use the proper tools. Now the brakes are grinding. In this video I show you how to do the brakes properly. I try to be as detailed as possible so everyone can do their brakes at home. The Disk brake tool kit is not expensive. The video is a little long but I wanted to cover everything. Enjoy.

2007 Chevy Express 2500 - Dome light blinks with blinker and oil pressure gauge is maxed out.
Переглядів 803 місяці тому
My 2007 Chevy Express 2500 Had a dome light that operates correctly until I turn on the left blinker or the hazard lights. When I turn on the left blinker, the dome light blinks with it. My oil pressure gauge is also a problem. It always reads 80 PSI. I have a B2615 Passenger Compartment Dimming 2 Circuit, and a P0522 Engine Oil Pressure Circuit Low.

In this one I investigate a short to ground code that sends me on a wild goose chase. Alldata wasn't very clear as in a photo as to where the sensor was located and contradicted the wiring diagram. A/C wasn't efficient enough for the customer, so I looked into that. I use the Launch X431 Scan Tool and some Testo tools to troubleshoot.

Thanks, I tried to be as detailed as I could. Thanks for watching. More videos coming.
All rusty not good
They cleaned up ok.
aha moment thanks I need a new tire dor my 94 magna not sure the size...it is a Dunlap
Sorry this reply is so late but I'm in the middle of moving from Florida to Michigan. It's been crazy for me lately. I can't remember the tire size on the Magna. I'd have to go through the video again and see if I can see it on there. I'll be making more videos soon. Right now I have to get the shop together. Thanks for watching my friend.
My smart sometimes wont go on reverse especially on hills, but drive and neutral works fine, what could it be?
I could be lots of things. Mechanical, or electrical. You just never know with those cars. If you can pull a code from it, I can point you in a direction, but without being there it's kind of hard to say. Text me back if you can pull a code and I'll look it up. Thanks for watching.
I have Husqvarna ST 138 2015 model. when I push the forward pedal, the mower moves in reverse, the reverse when I push down is okay, but the forward goes in reverse too..? It has me beat what the problem is
I haven't seen that one yet. Have you checked the linkage to see if it's connected properly? Sorry about the late response. I've been moving from Florida to Michigan so I've been busy. I'll be putting out more videos soon. Thanks for watching and I'll see ya on the next one.
Nice video, just a heads up, the number in parenthesis by the fasteners refer to their parts list number, not quantity. It confused me at first too. Also, the sliding pin can be used as a fulcrum to push against with a tire iron or spoon to pop the tire off the rim. Your tip to use it to hold a spoon in place was money! Anyways, thanks for the video.
Thanks watching and sorry about the late response.
Awesome 👍
Thanks 🤗
The Canadian version sold by Princess Auto in Ontario has the flat plates connecting the two rings to each other in 4 places. There are a few versions of the tool. Your video showed the reason for the cotter pinned large pin which I didn't have on my instructions. Ours is blue instead of black. Thanks. Good instructional video.
Thanks, I appreciate it, and thanks for watching.
Perhaps you fixed it off camera, but you left the drive belt outside the 2 J-hooks and on the wrong side of one of the pulleys (leaving it rubbing on one of the guides.)
The J-hooks are for the deck belt, not the drive belt. The drive belt goes on the upper pulley. I didn't film the installation of the deck. Thanks for watching, I hope I'll keep you interested. I'll see ya on the next one.
Your awesome I have a smart car myself but your awesome for even figuring that out
Thank you very much. It helps to have ALLDATA. Without that, I couldn't look up schematic diagrams and fix cars efficiently. It's $200 a month for a full subscription but there's also a DIY subscription for a lost less. You can pay for specific cars for much less. Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate you watching. Hopefully you'll be watching the next one. I'll see ya then. Thanks for watching. You're helping the channel. I have 55 subscribers as of this reply. Hopefully I'll have many more.
Smart ForTwo 451 superb definitely not a "little electric car". Most Europeans up to about 6ft 6" can fit comfortably fit with no issue. Once you adjusted the seat you seemed to fit ok. Outside the USA we try not to destroy the planet by using huge gas guzzling cars as we prefer economical cars. These computerised actuated manual gearboxes are a bit finicky but this is a common fault on this car. Good logical fix from a position of inexperience shows your mechanical fault finding skills. Well done! ❤
That mower has a 46" deck? Ive never heard of a 46. All other makers offer a 42 then a 54. !
Yes, this one is a 46" deck.
I just got my neighbor's (sitting for 5 years) 1998 Murray with the 18.5HP Briggs opposed twin flat head. It has a 46" 3 blade deck that needs two belts.
surprized you didn't sharpen the blades while you had the deck off brother.keep it up
I only do what they pay me to do. I'd rather replace them. That's business. You know how it is. I can only suggest, it's up to the customer rather or not they want to pay for it. You'd be surprised how many don't go with my suggestions and it ends up costing them more money. It is what it is.
did you not see the top of the crank where the flywheel is moving back and forth I'm thinking it's got a bearing bad in it on the crank I think you got problems inside that motor I'm just saying
I'm going to check that and see if it's a problem. I'll get back to you on that one. Thanks for looking out, and thanks for watching.
Nice👍🏽
Thanks for watching. Ring the bell for more content and leave me more comments. I'm new on UA-cam, so it'll help if you have any suggestions, or something you'd like to see. Thanks for the thumbs up, I appreciate it.
I can't believe this guy posted his own stupidity and calls himself mechanic when he can't even maintain his own vehicle ..
Sounds like no compression, turning really fast
That's what I was thinking when I first heard it. It's still running great today. I'm glad it wasn't that. I'm new at this UA-cam stuff, so I appreciate the support. Thanks for watching.
Will this make the cooling fan not work as well
I didn't check, but it's possible.
The smart car is an AMT transmission (automated manual transmission). If the clutch is worn, it will trip the sensor and you’ll have to change the clutch.
In this case, it was just bad connection on the coupler actuator. What I really needed is a jack, so I can get under there and clean it properly and spray it down with Deox-it.
@@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair What happens when the clutch wears out? Will you get a check engine light? Or will you just notice horrible shifting? Remember, the smart car is an automated manual transmission
I'm not sure if the ECM has the ability to tell if the clutch is worn. I'd imagine you'd just get horrible shifting. I would have to check ALLDATA for theory of operation and available sensors for that. I have not come across that issue. Thanks for watching my friend. Stay tuned for more repair videos.
I think you should get out from under a rock because as an American you only think that cars have to be BIG and use a lot of gas/diesel, small cars like this are common in Europe as they use little fuel and are ideal for the city, they are Small yes, but that's the idea. You don't need a Chevrolet Silverado to go to work every day and use 5 times more fuel and not find a place to park. You should use your head more and not your stomach.
I wasn't saying anything bad about the car. I actually like it. I love how fuel efficient it is. It may not be an ideal car to get into an accident in, but I absolutely love the fuel economy. It brings the travel cost down and the emissions.
@@JMPolteR facts I'm in United States and I got to say I fell in love with the smart for two instantly I wish I lived in United Kingdom I would stay buying the smart for two
The fuel filter looks reay bad.
Yes, it was ready to be changed.
Yep
that would had been a job with out the tire changer !
Indeed. I was glad to have it for sure. It'll be a lot better once I mount it on something. I'm in the middle of getting into a big building, so no more working in the dirt. I moved from Bellville Michigan to Vero Beach Florida, and I was working in the dirt there too. It'll be a nice change to have a concrete floor. One day I'll post a video on where I was, and where I'll be. I'm working on it, so keep watching. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see in the videos. I'm still new at the whole filming thing, and I don't want to be boring, so if you ever have any suggestions for me, go ahead and let me know. I'm open for suggestions. Thanks again for watching and I'll see you on the next one.
