There's a long range poke combo where you four charge one of the shots, and when you get down to 1 ammo (5+5+4=14), you can still fully charge a right click, firing a total of 19 shots per reload

A noob question. Do you keep holding left click and just keep aligning for head shots (to minimise time between shots) or do you only press left click when perfectly aligned so not to waste ammo and likely better accuracy?

I love Adam, but let’s be honest. If my co healer is not healing or is not good enough, I’m basically throwing. I’m in diamond and if we happen to have no one else who plays heals, playing Adam warlock as solo heals is a guaranteed loss. At least with cloak and dagger there’s a 20% chance of winning but Adam is 0. He is insane at 3 heal comp, I have games where I’ll go 20k damage while my dps have like 25k damage. His link cancels magneto, Psylock, star lord, squirrel girl ultimate it’s crazy good. His Ult is honestly dog water and on par with rocket but it’s really good popping it inside a Luna or invisible woman ult since they heal everyone and therefore mitigates the low hp your teammates have when resurrecting and invisible woman blocks the enemy from seeing you’re teammates. You need decent aim to maximize Adam, if you can’t consistently track or flick a running mantis or wall running rocket in the head then you’re missing out on massive damage and not using him to his full potential because you can average 15+ final hits every 10 min if you do it right and final hits > empty damage, seriously guys, an Adam warlock who is a HEALER can solo snipe a rocket or mantis will win you team fights . Another tip is using his charge shots to break strange shield and hulk bubble (important!! If you notice your team is respecting strange shield/groot wall/ hulk shield too much, you can support your dps and tanks in a different way by destroying it for them. You’re called STRATEGIST instead of healer for a reason). If you position yourself correctly and manage your cooldown correctly, nothing short of a triple enemy dive can kill you. Despite his strengths,Adam warlock needs mobility buffs and shorter cooldowns in my opinion, 105 seconds self res is kinda crap, raccoon is 45 seconds and it works for anyone. He should have his soul link go down from 45 seconds down to 30, give him 1 more heal or shave off 2 seconds on heal cooldown, and maybe make the team res give full HP + 5 seconds immortality. Before you say it’s OP, look at the other strategist’s ults…..literally near immortality for way longer than the 5 seconds I propose. He should also have better movement, give him slow decent, fly to allies, maybe a super jump like strange, it’s kinda bullsh*t how other healers have more movement AND do more healing and he also flies in the comics and movies. Don’t forget to use your melee guys, so many Adam warlock players I see are trying to reload their staff in a middle of a fight against a hulk or magik that they brought down to 1% hp and they die when they could’ve just whacked them with melee one or two more times to kill them and refocus your attention on helping win the team fight (because the enemy divers role is to literally distract you snd not even kill you so their team can win the fight since you aren’t healing them). In diamond and above, you WILL get dove on, it’s important to learn how to deal with it effectively. Another tip, when hulk turns back into Bruce, charge up your cluster shot and you’ll be able to one shot him as soon as he finishes transforming, that will win you games. Btw, you can counter flyers with your hitscan attack which is where the GOOD AIM comes in, you HAVE to hit the iron man and storm in the head consistently and out aim their air strafing when they strafe around corners of buildings, always ask for help when doing this, an Adam warlock with good aim + any ranged character can force an enemy Ironman to switch. Just go “hey psylocke, shoot at the Ironman with me for 5 seconds real quick”.Never go into a fight running from spawn if your co healer is dead and there’s a like 2 teammates about to die, your heals will not save them and you’ll just end up dying with them because you have 0 mobility. Just wait and if you have ult, ult then run towards their dead bodies with the rest of the team.you’re burst and left click in the head can MELT an ulting starlord or punisher, don’t be afraid and trust in your aim and you can delete them in 2 seconds while your team runs away, you will get so many thumbs up after the game ends. Adam warlock needs a decent teammate, he will not be able to compensate for a massive tank and dps diff and he cannot carry heals, if your co healer is a salty dps main who was forced to play healer and is playing cloak&dagger but uses cloak form 80% of the time….just switch to Luna and win the game so you can climb to a rank where teammates know their roles properly and know how to play with an Adam warlock (diamond+). Low diamond and below I would play the broken healers rn and play ad warlock when the team comps are good. Trust me, you may love Adam warlock and want to get lord on him but he will not work (effectively) at low elo for 75% of the games. If you have a starlord and mantis, sometimes I still won’t play Adam, because let’s be real, mantis heal is kind of not the best but it can work in a lot of games and the triple self res is insane for winning the first team fight. And winning the first team fight basically gives you a 75% chance of winning the checkpoint/round. Honestly a triple support of mantis, rocket, and Adam is insanely good since there’s resurrections going around for days AND rocket can focus on being a heal bot which makes Adam heals good for emergency instant heals and mantis can top off remaining teammates while they both can focus more on dealing damage, this comp is actually sooooo good……….until you go up against a Luna+cloak(+and Loki if it’s 3 healers) and you lose against their bullsh*t immortality ults. Trust me Adam warlock mains, it gets easier the higher you climb. And focus on warming up your aim. Lastly, I cannot stress this enough, if YOU can reliably can secure final hits on kills or one shot their dps/healer with your burst+left click so please improve your aim more, your heals won’t matter as much in the end. You won’t need to heal if the enemy is in spawn and not shooting at your team.

Those dinks are insane. If you can't headshot consistently, does body shots deal more dps or a charge + primary? When it comes to shredding tank/walls, idk which does more dps

how do you play if ur other healer is doing a bad job of healing? it looks like you play super solo i feel like your playstyle might struggle if your teammate isn't healing enough

How to deal with Black Panther? I can never land enough attacks to kill him… No one in my team protects me even unintentionally by trying to kill the diver and that’s y I play Warlock so I can defend myself but BP is just too much.

If you find your game style is really aggressive, Adam is the support for you. You're meant the play the way most noob supports play naturally. For any other support, healing when you're health is in the red is too late. For Warlock that's your perfect window.

there was this one lord adam player i met in plat who just couldn't fucking die and soloed ever bp and spidey that dived him. this adam dragged his feeding team to a win. as a vanguard guy i dont plan on picking him up, im just hear to find out what the fuck adam does 😂
