Just because the deciples were called Christian doesn't mean they themselves said they were Christian. It's like I saying your Japanese doesn't nessesarly mean your Japanese. The deciples were of the people named Israel. They never were Christians. Christianity is just another religion and Jesus never came with a religion, he came with the law. I would rather follow what Jesus taught and the laws of his Father than to follow any religion.
You will not recieve the Holy Spirit unless your properly baptized in water with repentance of your sins and confess the sins of your forefathers, Exodus 20:5, Leviticus 26:40. Matthew 3:6, Matthew 3:11 your not going to be baptized with Holy Ghost without showing your faith, Jesus is the way and he set the example. Get in that water and repent. ACTS 2:38, Mark 16:16,John 3:3-5,1 Cirithians 10:1-4. For precept must be upon precept. Let no man decieve you. God is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Something the Holy Spirit has been revealing to me is that God is not one to be placed in a box. Are you following the law because you believe it will satisfy the penalty we all must pay for our sins? one that does not believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father is already condemned by their unbelief. John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Ya missed that Yeshua was actually saving the woman AND her accusers. Yeshua knew that the accusers were guilty of the same sin, so by Jewish law, they can't be accusing and witnesses AND if they had stoned the Adulterous woman they would be breaking Roman law which forbid the Jews from carrying out death sentences, hence why Yeshua had to be crucified by the Romans. Yeshua was thinking about and saving all involved in that situation.
