The results of your work are very good, however you spent too much time giving your thoughts on the subject instead of actually doing the painting. As it's your first video and you were feeling your way around and were nervous I can understand. I've subscribed to you channel and look forward to seeing how you progress. As I'm a professional painter myself, I do believe that there's a lot to look forward to, keep up the good work and congrtatulations.

Isn't there a set turn order in this game? You said you were futzng the rules because the driver wasn't being penalized by the event. The rule futzing was going in variable turn order.

I discovered solo gaming in January and ordered this game with the expansions. Even if there was a few errors in your playthru, your playthru helped me learn the solo rules a little better. Thank you for making these videos.

ok so I just busted this one out today to play solo for the first time, having previously only played multiplayer. I did get some helpful tips to jump start my first play, however I wanted to point out a few errors you made. You appeared to be playing the game w/o regard to the rule that states one must discard down to the limit of 12 total resources (energy + metal combined) at the end of one's turn. Additionally, you did short the AI a couple of points at game end by virtue of the fact the AI had built two different monuments. That being said, I'm sure I could not have filmed myself playing this game error free & simultaneously carry on a reasonably coherent dialogue, so job well done!

Thank you for the solo playthrough! Wanting to let you know, you are using the jerseys wrong. To buy a jersey, you may mark the box on the playerboard of the horse that you just rolled (just like when you bet on the horse that you rolled) Then you may cross any box on that horse's card. What you were doing was marking a box on your player mat of your choice, and then mark the rolled horse's box, so the wrong way around ;) You were actually using Nitro Nellie's ability wrong too. Her power is, when you buy a helmet for the horse you just rolled, you may move that horse 1 space forward. So not Nellie, unless when you bought her helmet for the first time, but you can only do that once. You didn't miss the opportunity to take the bonus action, you just forgot to mark it. You bought a jersey for it. You did mark the wrong card again though :p. Also, the bonus actions you may take when you complete a row or colomn are all free! Meaning you can buy a horse for free! When the dice symbol shows up on Roland's card it doesn't mean to roll the die! It represents the number of the horse you rolled at the beginning of the turn. Which makes sense because Roland would bet on a horse that just moved forward. Roland's ability at the end of your video meant this: Mark his last placed horse's box on the card of the horse you rolled in the beginning of the round. In your playthrough, you should have marked the 1 box (his last placed owned horse) on the Too Lucky card (you rolled a 2 that round). It really seems a fun solo game. But yeah, the rules are easy to mess up. Apart from quite a few mistakes, your video was a good showcase of the game!

Correct me if I misread, but it's my understanding that you must choose 2 of the 3 cards each time (cannot use the same card for both the street number and the action).

Hi. Nice playtrough. Regarding your question about using Tony Starks aler-ego ability when he is exhausted - you absolutly can. If however the ability was reading «exhaust: (ability text)» you could not since exhauting is then a cost for using that ability.

dumb question but is everything needed to play the expansions included in this box (aside from the base game)? I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between the Aftermath expansion, the Void Seeders expansion, and this box that you reviewed that lists both. This one is listed as KS stretch goals, but it appears to have all the same content that is in the other expansion boxes, so I'm lost.

For the price this set is pretty amazing for beginners. Personally I was very satisfied with the quality of the included materials and the variety challenged me to try some new techniques for my bases! Cheers to you for making this video :')

Great play through. I really enjoyed watching it, that was a ridiculous opening flop of military cards! One tip about Armor. You never retire Armor, if the troop it is applied to is retired you can apply that Armor to a different troop on a future year. Might've been the difference in year 5 to you pulling out a win! Also, regarding the Enemy deck, all of the choices on a card apply only to the market level of the coin the Enemy is purchasing from. At one point you skipped the Enemy taking a Master Builder because you mistook it for a Skilled Builder (I think you called it a Medium Builder, but the "M" symbol is for Master) and instead gave the enemy another Cavalry, his next option, which unfortunately for you made his military even stronger. Hope that helps for your next play!

Amazing vid! Could you please help me with nurgles grot. Mine is more brownish but def darker. My question is, how much paint dud you use? Is it a good amount of paint, a thick layer?

Thank you Pips-N-Chits, that was really helpful. I only have the rules in Nordic languages I and think the translation is a bit off. For example it says ”Warning, you do not have to use effects” - I think it should be ”Note - you do not have to use effects”. Also how to shuffle the deck is not correctly described in solo modo in the rules. I only scored 75 points but I will try again and see if I can do better, I did put the numbers a bit off.

This expansion and the New California expansion are must buys for the core set. I was lucky to find it all as a bundle online.

just an fyi, you said they delivered 9 months late but in reality they delivered 3 months early. I, at least, appreciate that gave estimates that accounted for delays that they likely would face

Can’t say I like the sun drop on these. It just looks like somebody painted black wash with a hint of purple over the minis, possibly no undercoat. Would look better with a darker purple similar to GW contrast paint on those aliens.

That was pretty good, seems like you know how to play. The score was 106, the parks where 42, so that's a very good score. Most playthroughs I've seen don't put enough focus on parks and pools. Good job on that, nice strategic play

the bottom right of the box shows the other plants, not sure about the look of those.

The static grass is an interesting product, if you use one of their applicators, ones electric other is a rubber squeeze bottle that creates a static charge that went adding the "grass" because of the static, the grass will stand upright, pretty neat product. Sadly you can't buy either of the applicators on the Army Painter website from what I could find.

I know its a catalogue but I do like it as an inclusion, Army Painter has such a wide variety of great products for this hobby. Thanks for the overview.

Argh.. I thought the fifth player stretch goal was an actual fifth player board, not a printable PDF. It'll definitely eat at the feel of the game if everyone else has a nice board with tracks and then one guy has a shitty printed one.
