This is the highest possible DPS for any katana builds. Hand of Malenia gets to 632 at 80 Dex (~70 levels). Moonveil gets to 669 at 50/40 INT (also 70 levels) and Meteoric gets to 630 since it's STR, but it scales a lot with INT considering it's C instead of B scaling. I really enjoy the build - I am usually a dex/melee player, but having just enough FP for a bunch of sorceries and enough INT for almost all sorceries makes it really fun to experiment. Great variety. Broken Moonveil Skill, a lot of sorceries, Meteoric skill is dope, dual katana melee is fun. I'm glad that I'm not the only one thinking about dual wielding INT katanas lol EDIT: Numbers were slightly wrong

@@Abken. The numbers back it up too, it seems, that's excellent. I'm usually just a straight ahead melee player but I also wanted to branch out and try my hand at magic and seeing a good assortment of str int scaling weapons I decided to go that route. I had found the moonveil first and was torn because of the dex scaling being better but then discovered the meteoric and it hit me! I tried it out to see the moveset with both and I loved it. Need to upgrade the moonveil and figure out my stat spread as I want to be able to deal decent damage with both melee and spells but I'll get there. Seeing this definitely validated my plan!

Yes, it's still true but people here are saying that there are better ways to do it, slightly different but easier to do it true

It's been like 4 years, I forgot, but I bet it's just a fast input. However, people in the comments say that there is a buffer system abuse nowadays which removes the recovery frames of the jump and you can cancel it wherever you want and it's easier that way to do cdodge - jump+nair (you should release movements directions when you do the cdodge)

Thanks, but I didn't find it. It was famous back then when we were not talking about buffer system and abusing it. But there are videos from 3-4 years ago where people were showing this move (pretty sure Dobrein has a video for this combo and he called it gauntlets russian mafia if I recall correctly). It's not something special, it wasn't even back then. It is hard, inconsistent (at least to be true) and the extra damage is underwhelming. It was just a cool trick. I have no clue why this video got famous 4 years later LOL

@@Abken. the reason it exploded is because it's pretty hard to do now, and finding out that people have been doing it 4 years ago makes it special

@@Inklow It was frame-perfect back when I was playing. It was inconsistent even for the pros to do it. I upload random things in my channel. Why is it special for YT to push it to recommended feed to everyone though... *playing X files theme* Anyway, it was something fun to try to do back then. I'd say that even the regular hammer russian mafia was "inconsistent" but compared to this it's like a regular combo. Hammer's russian mafia has like 3 frames to do it true (no clue how is it now), while this is frame perfect, pretty much pixel perfect, tldr; a bullshit, but still a fun challenge. I don't know if I abuse the buffer system with this jump cancel or how should I call it, it's like jumping while inputing something else in the exact same frame. Can't remember the method for it, but it has jump in there, which is weird.

Its chase dodge before jump, if you jump then chase dodge it will have 2 dodge window
