That was FABULOUS! Beginning was a little shaky, but she killed those screams! I scream them in my shower and i could never 😅 love Corin, Sleater-Kinney and Pearl Jam. Im from Olympia its in my blood lol

Janet Weiss: Keep on Jumpin' in the Free World
man Corin sounds fantastic for that ending seriously rocks
Oh my god.... how can i get this in audio? Also, how canI find Vedder’s version of Modern Girl (audio). I’m so old school... I guess i want to put them on a playlist and listen and share, pretend it’s a mixtape
Also, first thought watching: she’s come a long way from the International Pop Underground Convention!!
💓🎸💓
absolutely love it
Corin has one of the best spine tingling yowls Ive ever heard when she kicks off. When I first heard SK I was 'meh' but like all the best things in life stick with them, get to know them, read about them, know where they came from and holy fuk. The 90s stuff is gold. Like Carrie said in her book they are awful as background music. It's personal. It is worth it. Check Pitchfork festival 2015 concert.
Yo estuve ahí, que nostalgia.
didn't like her at the beginning... but her voice in the chorus was freaking pleasant. great contrast to eddie's
Sorry trump, it was in México City . Best Pearl Jam concert.
Miguel Arenas what
This song should not be a duet. Chris ruined it, Corin ruined it. Honestly that high part could be sung by any decent backup singer or none at all and this song would be amazing.
Excelente!
Corin Tucker is one of my favorite vocalists ever! But, she is flat for most of the song. Sleater-kinney never did a stadium tour until they opened for Pearl Jam, so I could understand how being in a venue that large with an anonymous audience who were not necessarily receptive to S-K could affect her performance. Also the dynamic of S-K sharing vocals and interlocking guitars subverts the notion of a front-woman, Corin receiving all the focus of an audience and being out there without her bass-tuned guitar must have been a very vulnerable position. She really hit those notes at the very end, it must have been that period of touring after One Beat was released because of the obvious influence of the blues! Still a powerful performance by mutually supportive Northwest musicians. This tour would inspire the loud experimental The Woods as a response to the challenge of attracting a new audience and occupying such a huge stage.
Read this before I watched it, and I was hoping you were wrong -- but you're right. She's flat for most of the song. Still mad props to her though.
Excellent piece , thanks for posting
Also, if you're one of those idiots who is like, really insulted that this happened, just remember that Chris Cornell performed this song with Linkin Park once...
This song is one of those songs that kinda changed the world for me when I first heard it. There havent been a whole lot of live versions that eclipse the album version, and it's hard to imagine this song without Chris, but this version of perfect. Corin Tucker is a fucking incredible vocalist.
corin sounds incredible.
yikes!
The power in Ed's voice is too much for her to keep up
Depends on what you mean by power. Her vocal is the more powerful one in this performance on a technical level.
Santos!
Covering Chris Cornell sure ain't easy. Kudos, S-K lady.
sucrannumber2 stop dissing women in rock music corin tucker rocks and your probably really sexist with your music thinking how dare pearl jam be such big fans of an all girl rock band..
AWWWWH YEHHHHH
I like that Janet was back there hanging out with a tambourine, but where was Carrie while all this way going on?
And a drumstick and cymbal. I love it! 💖
this makes me cry, i'm so happy sk and pj are friends, its such an awesome performance ^__^
im a sleater kinney fan, so Corin cannot do any wrong by me.
Hey listen, I have no horse in this race. Not a huge PJ/Vedder or SK fan. BUT, I do enjoy music of many kinds, and really liked the song Hunger Strike back in the day. This chick butchered it. No, make that gutted it and then stepped on it's still beating heart. Really awful job, and I bet Vedder didn't let her do it many more times...
@esroni and you're a tasteless clown.
she sucks :/
man the reject cornel dick suckers trying to say corin cant sing really shoot their credibility in the foot by dissing on her. shes great
dont care what anyone says about cornel, heard him singing some new SG in 2010 and he was hitting his same highest notes just like in the 90's
@RockSoldier3 loser.
she did pretty good.
NW pride!
@hectorleon87 y Hunger Strike
I gave you a thumbs down for this comment. But have to admit, you are funny.
muy buen concierto
thats good ive always had a high level of respect for chris. the video i saw must have been when chris was having vocal chord problems.
My fave temple of the dog song. love corin and SK, so this rules.
Corin did great! You can see she was nervous at first....but near the end of it when she got her confidence she rocked it out! They both have a such a vibrato, I was always curious to what they would sound like together. Neat find!
