Nothing beats a book haul, thanks that was super fun! 😃 I have read Kafka's Metamorphosis and highly recommend it, thanks for letting me know about The Cockroach by Ian McEwan.. I didn't know that he wrote a retelling of Kafka's Metamorphosis so that's super interesting.. thanks for that... Also, highly recommend The Paris Library, I read that one over the summer and couldn't put it down, lol! 😃Thanks for a wonderful bookhaul, that was fun! Happy reading!! 😃📚
Thanks for a wonderful video.. I'm new to booktube and I have only started making videos, and I can so relate to some of the challenges that you mention in this video.. talking to a camera for me, took some getting used to, plus the editing and the technology stuff was a challenge for me too, but then I think of my love for books and stories and learning and I realise there's no other place I'd rather be, lol! 😃 Well done with putting your channel together and all your entertaining content and book reviews, it's a big task doing a channel but a fun one too! I have only just discovered your channel through MJ's channel, Reading This Life, so I look forward now to watching some more of your channel and learning more about books.. Happy reading! 😃📚
Thanks for a wonderful video. Sounds like a great reading month! Paddington Bear, New Moon and Jennifer Saint's writing, sounds superb. I have read the first book in that series of Jennifer Saint's and it was a 5 star read all the way, atmospheric and amazing... Hope you're reading something fun, happy reading! 😃📚
Thanks for the comment! I haven’t read Ariadne, but I have read Atalanta. I have Ariadne on my TBR though!
@@TheLimitlessLibrarian Ariadne was amazing! One of those unforgettable books... I highly recommend. I haven't read Atalanta yet, I may have to pick that one up soon.. happy reading!! 😃📚
Thanks 😊.
What a haul, my sort of day out! Good to see you are doing well. Take care.
Now that's a haul. Holy mackeral! How do you know you've hauled too many books? A bookalanche I suppose!
Haha, it sure was! And there’s no such thing as too many books, even if you have a bookalanche! 🙃

Thank you so much for sharing some of your wonderful books with us. Your collection is truly beautiful and inspiring, and I deeply appreciate your generosity.
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope you found some nice maths book recommendations from this video! :)
banger
I don't know how you read so much in such a short time, fourteen books in a month it's crazy to me😮. I was only able to finish reading one book this month😅 (The Patients by Gabriel Rolón(Good start, slow half, didn't like the end)), but I started reading Don Quixote and In the Country of Last Things, I probably won't finish them this month😅, muche less now that some of the books you recommended caught my attention, they go to the "to read" pile😂 (it grows by the minute). Thanks for the recommendations.
Thanks mate! :) It helps to read multiple books at once, and to have a set time every day during which you do some reading.
You are so cutee i have my maths book collection tooo
Yay :) got any recommendations?
oooohhhh I need this because I've been swamped with so many pure maths classes that I never got the chance to learn the basics of stats! Do you know of any gentle stats books that cover Bayesian a lot better than this one does?
I’m afraid not. I do have a book called “The Theory that Would Not Die” that’s about the history of Bayesian stats but I haven’t read it yet.
Have you ever read on a kindle for long periods of time? Does the kindle display feel more like a computer screen, or paper to your eyes? I could imagine you copying all your springer textbook pdfs (free dl w/ uni login) to it so that you could study maths for longer.
I’ve never owned a kindle, but I can read all my uni PDFs on my iPad.
wow, so many maths books It's wonderful. I am into Physics more, but I love mathematics as well.
Yay, that’s awesome! Happy to see another maths lover here! Maths books are lovely, do you have any recommendations?
I was hopeless at maths, wasn't bad at addition and subtraction but then my mind went blank. I remember getting smacked on the back of the head my my maths teacher for saying if Algebra was a way to represent numbers with letters, why bother with the letters. You are a star.
Oh no :( sadly you are far from the first person from whom I’ve heard a story like that. Mathematics is beautiful and it’s a tragedy that your genuine curiosity was responded to in such a way. I am a firm believer that it is never too late to learn though, should you wish to.
Happy birthday! I hope you have a bright, kind, lighthearted next year.
Thanks mate! :)
i like math books
Yay! Maths books are awesome! you can never have too many of them! :D
@@TheLimitlessLibrarian I stopped making book videos, but maybe I should do some math book videos.
Yes, you should! I would love to see them!
I'm terrible at maths, it has always been a language i don't understand. I admire someone with your ability⭐
It’s never too late to learn!
Thanks for sharing! I really want to check out _Music of the Primes_. I don't understand the Riemann Hypothesis either. If you like math history, have you seen _Crest of the Peacock_? We used that for a math history class last spring and I really liked it. It focuses on non-western math with a big emphasis on early math. Lots of fun problems and historical context.
Glad you liked the video, and thanks for the recommendation, I’ll definitely want to check that out!
I read No Longer Human (the novel) a while ago. Personally I don't like it, in some parts it confused me, maybe it's an issue of the translation to my language (Spanish) or I'm just stupid. Also many of the things that are written in the book are somewhat questionable, maybe it is because of the cultural difference or the time in which it was written. And in many cases I couldn't help but laugh at what I read, I just felt it was ridiculous. I didn't know that the book had a manga adaptation, I am curious, now I am looking forward to read it and see if there is a noticeable difference (I hope for the better) with the book. Thank you Librarian.
Although I have to admit that it had some very good paragraphs.
Thanks for letting me know! I didn’t find the manga version confusing, so hopefully having read that might help me with the novel if it is a bit difficult. At the start of the manga it did have a content warning, I don’t have a problem reading problematic content like that as I feel it’s more productive to talk about why we Don’t Do This Stuff Anymore rather than try to hide it.
thank you for spending your special day with me, and letting me take you to your special place, a bookshop love always mum 22:03

@@TheLimitlessLibrarian you as well
Technically, the nine muses are Greco-Roman goddesses, and don’t have different names between their aspects, so it’s entirely possible that her mother is Terpsichore’s Roman aspect. I do agree however that she would do much better at CHB and now that they have the demigod exchange program going on, I could see her doing that.
I have never read Homestuck, but all of these books sound really cool!! :3
Homestuck is very strange and confusing (multiple universes, clones that get sent back in time, people who don’t stay dead and sorta come back to life, souls getting fused…) but worth reading if you’re looking for something quirky and unique to read! I’m glad you found some cool new books to read via my video, in any case! :)
i'm so glad UA-cam put this on my homepage because this is AMAZING!!!
Yay! I’m really happy to hear you liked it! I hope you found a cool new book to read!
what a white range of subjects your books are. They all sound wonderful a good read. And you save money at the bookshop well done mum. 12:05
Asimov is a wonderful, thoughtful book and relevant in a world where the power of AI is being discussed. Stay well young lady.
Thank you! It is one of my favourite books, the stories feel like puzzles which makes them really fun to read. Thinking about the terrifying speed at which AI is improving and being shoved into anything and everything without first asking if it should be there, is less fun. AI was clearly a Pandora’s box that our society was woefully unready to open.
Hey TLL! i dont know if you remember me, but i sure do! and im still so happy you stuck with your passion, much luck with your career <3
