Bheki Mkhatshwa is commonly known as a Traditional Gospel Singer
and a Song writer who began his Music Ministry at the very young
age.
He sang at the Church choir (AFM) and community Projects. In 2003
he started a Gospel Group called His Worship Majesty. And later in
2006 he committed himself more in the Church choir and Ministry
where he was rooted and grounded. He was inspired by Sipho Big
Fish Makhabane, Bishop Benjamin Dube, Dr Rebecca Malope, The
Late Vuyo Mokoena and Israel Mosehla to Preach the Gospel thru
Songs and Psalms.
MUSIC CAREER
He started his Professional Music Journey in 2009 when he formally
became a member of the Gospel group called Tshwane Gospel Choir.
Then he recorded his first live experience Gospel DVD with Tshwane
(TGC) in 2011 at Unisa together with likes of Collins and Bongi
Damans, and Ndivhuo Matumba, later in 2012 TGC recorded another
live Gospel DVD with Joe Niemand (live at The Dome) and Dr
Rebecca Malope (at the South African State Theatre) and that
contributed to the experience Bheki Mkhatshwa acquired.
Bheki Mkhatshwa is currently in possession of two albums, first one
entitled (Psalms of our Revival) recorded in 2013 at Apostolic Faith
Mission (Mabopane) featuring Ndivhuo Matumba and Lyborn
Mkhwanazi, the album is features hit songs/tracks like Uzimu,
Lentswe and Ngisize Nkosi. In 2018 he recorded the second album
titled (Psalms of our Restoration) at the Atterbury theatre with the
taste of classic Gospel feel, featuring a well-known traditional song
known as Jesu Msindisi Wami and Khuluma Nalesimo, which they’ve
created a good hype in National Radio Stations like Ikwekwezi,
Motsweding, Thobela and many more…
His music reaches out to countries like Swaziland and Botswana
where he ministered to many souls thru his music and revived the
broken in heart.
Bheki Mkhatshwa is an independent artist who also happens to be
the founder of BMK PRODUCTION with the intensions to
equip/Develop the up- coming Artist/Musicians.
