I still don't like his older works but this whole soundtrack is great. For me the difference is there is variety while still maintaining a motif, but also I just don't get why the audio quality in Violet Evergarden is so much worse. Is it really just Philharmonic Orchestra Prague's recording equipment being bad? Reminds me of early Alfred Brendel recordings.

Excellent video!!! Sadly, UA-cam has just deleted almost the entire OST of the anime. Allison to Lillia practically has a better story than practically most current anime slice-of-life or romances.
