Yeah, i know gsrc (gentlemen sim racing) run a championship on monday nights. Also broadcasted. And im sure would be at least 1 or 2 more. Older gen v8s are still reasonably popular!

@@simonhaynes243 Yeah I just stumbled across the V8 vets race from last night. The amount of trouble of and hard work theyve done to put that together is amazing. Its defiantly something id like to be a part of. It would take my iracing experiance to the next level. I was running low 1:29s around there earlier today.

@nathancad nice, i only just turned 40 and became eligible. So this is my first season. Second race in. Have been waiting nearly 2 years to be old enough and get in.. loving it so far. Its definately worth it. 👍

@@simonhaynes243 Awesome man, I turned 42 a couple of weeks ago. They reckon the average age of an Iracer is 50 hey. I switched to iracing about 3 months ago after getting back into sim racing. Tried my mates VR headset on granturismo 7 and that was it, instantly resparked the bug for it. Got sick of the racing etiquette is GT7 and always getting punted in races and thought Id give Iracing a go. Ill never look back now, a lot less idiots in the game and the racing and driving quality is next to none. So good.

Yeah, i agree. I used to love forza on xbox, but online was frustrating. I bought a laptop and assetto corsa, quickly moved to iracing and VR. Im the same will never go back. Racing in VR is insane. And i dont think anything rivals the iracing online. Its great!

Thanks Cam, Yeah i have not done a whole lot of racing lately, More just practice with the team than anything! But the Official races are full of some serious fast contenders these days! is very tough racing!

Yeah was a really tough crowd, I really struggled with this track, but had a fun night. a good battle at the back! the sneaky buggers at the front didnt take tyres, which gained them a whole lot of time. Kudos to them!

I actually had to re record the sound, so when i origionally recorded video it was echoing as i had setup wrong. So i recorded replay with raw sound which is the video on the bottom left. But yeah does sound good on exterior of car. 👍

Yeah, was only split that night i was super happy to get to 16th. Consistency paid off.. 👍

Hey mate, There are no holdens, they went extinct!.... its just the intro to my streams and channel. iRacing is still using Gen 2 V8 Supercars. But thanks for the heads up! Some one whom is on the ball as much as you must be well in tune with all that goes on..

Thanks Cam, All in all was a great night out for us, kept out of some of the major trouble. first endurance event we have ever done, looking forward to doing more in the future!

It was an absolute shocker, nearly missed the race, no qualy and didnt even select a gear off start line! But in the end was one of the most fun races ive had!

Thanks Cam, Yeah i have practiced both driving styles. Left foot braking i am definately more consistant. But i really like the realism of heel and toe, Time wise i am about the same. I dont know how i ended up in the top split. was a disaster as i didnt get any practice before hand. hadnt actually used the sim for about 3 weeks.

Thanks Cam, my race pace wasn't quiet as fast as a couple of guys! But the consistency of my laps and a good start definately got the job done in this one! My best race and qualy ive ever done! I was spewing the sound didnt work on the origional live stream i had done! 🤨
