Well you have to trade these calendar spread appropriately. I have the 565 09/24 (50) calls and sold the 566 calls yesterday. I closed those for $5000 profit and then sold today's 564 call, which I closed for $1900. Once we started higher again, I sold the 09/18 calls for another $8000 credit, which is down about $2000, but it is a wash, being the 565 calls I own were in the red and have moved up with the 565 calls I sold. So far, the trade is +$1800, as I could sell my 565 calls for still a decent price and already collected almost 1/2 of what I paid for them. Make sense?

@@Sentimenttiming yes!! Makes sense, but wonder the reason you sell ATM or deep ITM as you did yesterday?

@@slait73 I buy and sell the calls I am selling against my 09/24 line. If we see a massive move higher, I am making money on that call I own. When lower, I buy back the options I sold with 0dte and look to sell one close to price. I bought back the options I sold 3 times today--and made over $10,000 on the ones I sold--bring my cost average for the call I own down to $7000 which I paid $24,000. I can close everything and take a $4000 profit, being my calls I own are still worth $13,000. G

@@slait73 I will determine which strike to use based off of the market direction I see. If lower, then I sell in the money calls for larger premium. Once I am 75% of max gain, I close it and write another line. G

I continue to do them in the trading account. It is basically risk free if managed correctly. I use spy, but one can use regular stocks.

Please would you explain more in deep, please? I understand you sell 0/8Dte Call calendar, you repurchase sold option as you get 50-80 value and reperat sell ATM Then sell buy option as lose 50% or couple of more days Am I correct? Please could you explain more?

I really just use the spx for trading/charting. But you can use the spx as your trade eyes for spy. G

The cycles have been skewed and there are no hard turn dates approaching, because of the election cycle. I am expecting some weakness for the next couple of weeks. G

If we take a condor, the stop is set for each leg of the condor. The important piece of the equation, is know when to get into the position and what type of trade, a debit or credit spread. G

We only use spx. Stops are a formula we use that if stopped, typically end up with a minimal loss--if any. Yes, expire that day--much less stress

Yes, they are just for the day--stop loss is set after the trade is in place. No set %.

There is a formula. It may not be exactly even, based on the fill, but drawdown is very limited. We have risk/reward marked on each trade in our training class. G

These are coordinated short squeezes. Many were not believers that the low was in. Sentiment was depressed and every rally, the peeps shorted. The bears are all but washed out. Sentiment is now at extreme bullish levels and there is no safety net below. It will not take much to scare people into believing the end is near again. Algo's algo's algos. But algos need the other side of the trade to work off of. (Bears) When they are gone, like now, the algos will turn and eat the bulls. It happens all the time, even when we are in a bull market, like 2009-2021. Hope that helps. G
