Discovering Samarkand Uzbekistan - Part 1
Samarkand is a city in Uzbekistan known for its mosques and mausoleums. It's on the Silk Road, the ancient trade route linking China to the Mediterranean. Prominent landmarks include the Registan, a plaza bordered by 3 ornate, majolica-covered madrassas dating to the 15th and 17th centuries, and Gur-e-Amir, the towering tomb of Timur (Tamerlane), founder of the Timurid Empire.

What's the black stuff in the water ?
Overall the water of Adriatic Sea is so clean and beautiful but I was also surprised to see this stuff. I checked online and found this information which could be the answer to your question, “The Adriatic Sea is seriously prone to marine litter pollution, and it collects about one-third of all the freshwater flowing into the Mediterranean, mainly via the river Po. This study investigated the type and composition of large microplastic debris collected in different sites in the Po Delta area”.

Sorry guys I couldn’t get back to you earlier. First of all thank you for your messages. I recorded this video on the 24th December between 12-1 in the night while coming back from Khor Fakkan. I wasn’t expecting this either and you are right that I was lucky to record this. It could be testing for new year but as it happened on Christmas Day so I thought it must be for Christmas. Thanks!
