Watching alone is good imagine her reactions on theaters with so many people lol
This was the third of the Mia Goth MaXXXine trilogy. Thought Pearl was the best, but they are all worth watching. Guess the Kevin Bacon character literally experienced six degrees of separation in this movie. His head from the rest of his body.😬 Not so fun fact: Richard Ramirez, dubbed the Night Stalker by the media, was a serial killer, rapist and burglar, who murdered at least 13 people in California in 1984 and 1985, the year “MaXXXine” is set in. A movie recommendation if you wouldn't mind: 'Ingrid Goes West' starring Aubrey Plaza. A movie that definitely speaks to our social media age. And one in which I definitely changed my opinion about the lead character Ingrid as the movie went on.
To all you Single white females always remember the Anti-Defamation League are the biggest race liars on the planet
Guess you could say this is a hare🐇raising nightmare of tail (tale).😆Glenn Close was really scary in this movie. A testament to her excellent performance, along with Michael Douglas and Anne Archer, who played his wife. The heroic character of this movie is Beth. No question about it. There was actually a proposed alternative ending that went as follows: "Alex Forrest slashing her throat at the film's end with the knife Dan had left on the counter, so as to make it appear that Dan had murdered her. After seeing her husband being taken away by police, Beth finds a revealing cassette tape that Alex sent Dan in which she threatens to kill herself. Upon realizing Alex's intentions, Beth takes the tape to the police, who clear Dan of the murder. The last scene shows, in flashback, Alex taking her own life by slashing her throat while listening to Madame Butterfly." Glad they did not go with this ending. Beth shooting her was a much more satisfying ending. Anyway, thanks for this great reaction video. Your channel is becoming a favorite of mine. Love that you show the movie in full screen aspect ratio. That is awesome. Looking forward to future videos.
Thank you so much 😃
Great reaction video. This movie discouraged and outright scared people from taking on roommates to the point of having applicants obtain references as if it were a job.😆 Excellent performances by Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Fonda has retired from acting, but Jennifer is still rocking it appearing in the most recent season of 'Fargo', as well the Netflix series 'Atypical', in addition to all of the movies she has done.
Thank you! And I can imagine!
Your channel will blow up. Your reactions are exquisite.
Thank you so, so much! You're awesome.
I once heard that Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh both wore wigs in this film.
happy halloween 🎃 loving your reactions
the actress who plays his wife was 40 yrs old at the time. i think glenn looking older is bc she too was almost 40 but also genetics and makeup has got to have something to do w it.
The Sequel is also really good, I’d highly recommend it if you liked this one!
Good to know! I'll add that to the list!
What I take from this movie is that the writers were attempting to show how artificial and superficial these friendships/relationships really were. Once the game descended into chaos and the storm kicked in with the problems they were all having with the electricity and their cell phones, practically all of them turned on each other. Even the two girls who were kissing at the start of the movie, you got the feeling that their relationship was more lust than love based. Overall, it was not a very flattering portrayal of Gen Z. But it definitely kept me interested and it was certainly an unconventional approach to horror, whereby it was more about the breakdown of relationships from within. Rather than focusing on an external force such as a haunted house or some kind of ghost or demon, which we usually see in more traditional types of horror movies.
Cool tattoo
Thank you so much!
Pretty. Enjoyed that fatal attraction reaction 😅
That's great! Thank you!
@@StageFrightReaction anytime luv
also to be fair, this seems like Bee's first time ever doing weed considering her reaction to being told the cake was a weed cake, and she ate a LOT. on top of that she doesn't know any of these people, and i doubt any of them could hear him when he asked if Jordan was okay so after that point her brain just decided to take out the threat since he grabbed the knife twice now. i also don't know for sure but it seems like she moved to the states rather than being born there (based off her line delivery, it seems like shes considering the right words most of the time, and i think there was a line about "coming here" when referring to the US) so there might be a slight language barrier where in the moment she doesn't process english as quickly as everyone else
your love for Alice is SO real she's such a mood
She was cracking me up throughout the whole movie!
6:48 "see, why did he look kind of cute when the did that? now i'm irritated." SO RELATABLE LMAOO thats basically my inner monologue whenever i find someone attractive that i hate on a personal level lol
5 minutes in and I'm like: oh this is hilarious.
Thank you! 😃
Okay wait, so there was no Killa??
Nope. Just Peter playing with a sword. Ruined the whole night.
I didn't pick this up when I watched it (probably because I was really high - I don't recommend it), but apparently Longlegs used to be a glam rock singer in the 70s and his deformed face is the result of multiple botched cosmetic surgeries from back in the day. It also explains his smatterings of theatricality. I actually didn't like this movie at all so I'm an odd one to be relaying this, but knowing his background does make him a little freakier. Without it he just seems like Nicholas Cage being weird again, but knowing more about the character makes him feel more alive. They should have made it a bit more clear in the movie.
It was kinda of "grandpa's eyebrows." Meaning: all over the place. But, still scared me quite a bit! What are some movies you have found effective?
@@StageFrightReaction For horror specifically? I have pretty thick skin so it has to do something pretty crazy. Martyrs comes to mind (the original). I hesitate to recommend it to anyone because it's one of the most disturbing movies ever made, but it really stuck with me and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days afterward. I say watch it if you have a VERY strong will and strong stomach because it is a masterpiece, but it's one that should come with a bright red warning label. On the completely opposite end of the spectrum if you haven't yet you should watch a couple Hayao Miyazaki movies because they're beautiful, brilliant and they make your entire soul smile. They're the perfect way to counteract the nihilism you feel after watching a bleak horror film. My Neighbor Totoro is the only movie that ever made me cry from happiness. It's one of those pieces of art that feels like an act of kindness from its creator.
Oh lord. I honestly cannot with "martyrs." I wasn't ready. It goes into the category of, "films ya never really wanna see again." Thanks for the suggestions!
@@StageFrightReaction Yeah I've wanted to have a long conversation about that movie with someone for a long time just to help get my own head around it, but I hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know too well because of what they might think of me for it lol.
🥰👏
You're the best!
oh let’s gooo 😂❤
Hope you liked it! 😃
I used to be just as obsessed as you, about cheating. Funny how it all comes into FULL VIEW when we're in a relationship. But relationships never worked out for me, until I learned how to trust.. but more importantly, be trust-worthy. Once I stopped looking around for something better or for attention.. I noticed that the man I loved was trust-worthy.. because I was. this all happens whether you're married or not. It's a developmental milestone. It's really amazing how that works. xo
3:07 He's not actually 'hitting' on her, there. They're having a normal conversation.. and I think you youngster females NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT. Men speaking to you and LOOKING at ya's.. is not a come on. It's normal event as we go through life.. people are gonna want to talk to you and look at you while they're talking to you and IT'S NOT A THREAT.. it's NOT A COME ON. just an fyi by an older, wise, ex-hooker.
I think I was reacting that way because I knew what was coming. I understand what you are saying. I was already pissed at both of them prior to the Movie even starting.
You should give Dante’s Peak a try. Disaster movie of course but really really good. 👍 P.S., I look forward to seeing your UA-cam grow. You seem like an awesome person. 🎉
Thank you so much!
Start a new reaction trend, DOLORES CLAIBORNE. Classic Stephen King, Prime Kathy Bates + Jennifer Jason Leigh… And the incomparable Judy Parfitt❤🎃🖤
I've always wanted to see that! Kathy Bates is everything!
Girl, based on how you’ve reacted to the ones you’ve posted. You’ll fall in love with Kathy all over again.
Ooh I believe it!! Thank you! 😃
Check out the movies Host(2020), As Above So Below(2014), and Hush(2016). Also, just an fyi that you have 2015 as the release year for Creep but it’s 2014.
Thank you!
I love your reactions you are genuinely hysterical and make me laugh! Could you react to two really good British thrillers Eden Lake and Harry Brown? X
Awh im so glad! And yes, possibly! 😄 eden lake more than likely!
Thank you that's great I look forward to that reaction trust me you are going to have a lot to say about that movie ! @@StageFrightReaction

The way you had me hollering watching this 😂❤
@@jareeohs yay ❤️ that's all I want to do 😊
YOOOOO this movie is crazy underrated!! One of my favorite parts is that it answers the question that all found footage movies raise metatextually but never answer: if this is supposed to be real footage, who cut it together? I love that this movie is like “oh the serial killer is also a fucking filmbro and he makes his own movies” like what’s his letterboxd account
It was pretty awesome!
Jesus, the over dramatic commentary was unwatchable
Your anxiety for my favorite film gave me anxiety… damn girl :) now I’m infinitely intrigued about what you’ve seen to be triggered like this
Oh no! 😣 sorry!
That's gonna be a helluva drive into the most scariest found footage movie.
It absolutely was top 3 BEST found footage movies I have ever seen. Right next to the first "Paranormal Activity," as well as "The Blair Witch Project." In my opinion.
19:39 it's hard to watch , you're not being dramatic . but what shocked me the most in this movie was the main character himself . One the most slimy villain/main character i've seen in a movie 😐
He is a true villain! Thank you for watching!
@@StageFrightReaction great reaction , i'm checking your channel for more 🙂
@@eglantinepapeau1582 awesome! Thank you!! Hope you have fun! 😃
Could you react to British movie Eden Lake please

Thank you!! Agreed, this movie is beyond terrifying. I don't think any of us were ready!
You should react to the movie The Devils Advocate with Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron, and AL Pacino, also Bram Stokers Dracula with Keanu Reeves, Anthony Hopkins and Winona Ryder
I've never seen those! Thank you! 😃
There are worse movies to watch.
