You can definitely do that, but I would rather suggest using a lipstick with a strong gray undertone just to avoid mixing a cream and a powder! Or you could use one of those black mixers! I would do it if I still had one of my Natasha Denona lipsticks that pulled super gray on me, but unfortunately I threw that away 😭

@@beautyandmells Hi :) Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about the eyeshadows - I wonder if you can achieve a neutral light brown mixing light orange with light grey or does it just become muddy? I'm very tempted with this palette cause the ingredients are great, but it does look very orange on light skin... Do you like it?

@ The cool toned shades are 3/4 only in this palette, and if you mix warm and cool I'm afraid it will be muddy, as you said. If you're looking for a neutral cool eyeshadow palette I would check out MAC connect in colour "encrypted kryptonite" (although this one doesn't have only matte eyeshadows); or the natasha denona i need a nude which has basically almost all cool toned shades! in my opinion if you are buying a palette at that price, you should have more than 3-4 shades of what you're looking for! :)

@@beautyandmells Thank you, yes, I know these palettes, looking for sth talc and aluminum salts free that is blendable and not patchy. I was mixing light orange and grey with my Purobio eyeshadows and it's kind of close to beige... but these organic eyeshadows are not as blendable.

The specks are scary! They don't look like white or black mold, they look like excess pigment... But still, for a 55$ eyeshadow palette I shouldn't have to worry about this!

I am not going in debt over these and my economic situation allows me to grab a few. Everyone should do what they want with their earnings. I bought them because they are pretty, and reviewed them on my channel. I am honest in my reviews though so if something isn't the best priced, I will say so. I stand by my opinion: the price is wrong for these. This doesn't mean they aren't pretty.

exactly, considering in some duos only 1 out of the 2 shades are 100% pearl, this is too expensive

@@whoronnieis yes unfortunately some duos seem to be better than others... like the gold/silver one and the gold/copper one. I think those are the only 2 duos in which both shades are super sparkly.
