Ghetto Brothers live! There is something in my heart

i still have the OG LP record...
I saw the Ghetto Brothers in 1972 on Trinity Ave in the Bronx. It was the original band and I remember that they rocked it!. I immediately ran to Prospect Ave and bought the album. I was 10 years old and I never forgot that performance. They were my inspiration to become a musician, and I ended up playing with BonJovi, Ratt, Zebra and many others. I was a session player and toured Europe many times. I have them to thank for getting me started. I became friendly with Benji and I remember that he was seeing the daughter of the neighborhood cleaners. I lived right down the block from there on E158 street. What a magical time.
that LP is rare i still want the 45
I heard this song six years ago for the first time, and I was hooked.
Much respect to Clayton and Cochise for keeping LES history alive and well. I love you’re stories and how you tell it. This stuff should be taught at universities.

So great they are still singing! How was the event? Where was it?
This is good stuff. These guys have real talent and real soul, which is far more than could be said about Menudo! Ralphy Rodriguez, eat your heart out!
