Caravan adventures N.I. is a channel to show you around Northern Irelands caravan sites, surroundings,
attractions and other caravan and travel related topics.
We started this channel to help fellow campers see what the camp sites are like and what you might expect and possibly need to bring along on your journey.

Torr head Ballycastle is must visit place when staying up at the North Coast. An old derelict coastguard station located at the closest point to Scotland. Mull of Kintyre. I wonder could the lighthouse be seen on a clear night? Torr head coastguard lookout post in Ballycastle is a great site to see if you are visiting the North Coast of Northern Ireland.

This is our wonderful trip to Glenariff forest park, well what can I say, a breath-taking caravan site, immaculate well-kept facilities that is very well set up for disabled people. Gosford Forest caravan park. Located outside Markethill, between Armagh and Newry. Gosford forest park now offers some glamping pods, updated play parks, clean tidy facilities. during the good weather there are some food wagons in the main carpark. You will need to bring the waste master and aqua roll and a good length ehu lead.

Is the awning area grass or hard standing?
Grass but not all sites are suitable for awnings. If you look at the video you will see what they are like and what pitches are suitable for awnings and the ones that are not.
What a lovely caravan site very well done and look after and very lovely people Highly recommended to enjoy your time with them 😂great site 🎉
If you remember, can you book to camp here at a reception area in Kilbroney or is it all online?

Whats the fresh water point like? is there a hose on it?
No hose on it. I carry a small section of pipe with a tap connector on the end for just that purpose.

Delighted to see this, as before myself and my family went there was very little information on the campsite.... After staying there with our campervan I can definitely recommend to families we had a fantastic time

No there's a cafe on site though.

Great to see this campsite being brought back to life, as a child oh 30 years ago we used go there every Easter loved playing in the forest as a kid

@@CaravanAdventuresNI not sure I think originally it was council run and then closed due to funding maybe, then about 10 years ago I think a couple took it over and tried to relaunch it, but really sure what happened there. Then now it’s great to see if revived again!

just come home from here we have going every year for 15 years we love it my favourite place so relaxing and peaceful what a lovely video to find when I came home

They cut the trees??? They always sheltered the site from wind
Wasn't windy when we went but the trees did look well trimmed.
