In 2016 the operative of an echocardiogram said my history as a cycle racer was responsible for what he was seeing, an enlarged Right Atrium. A subsequent MRI shows my RA to be 28cm2, (normal <22cm2). Subsequent echocardiograms claim my RA is now normal size. Is it possible for an enlarged RA to return to normal size with no treatment?
