The motivation to start the "one musical snippet a day" project was to improve my musical skills, by forcing myself to create something musical - however small - every day, but I guess the goals will change over time. Mike Winkelmann's Everydays were the inspiration for this project.

waw❤❤
beautiful
does your daughter draws as you play or you play as she draws? 🤔
Neither, nor... It just so happened that when I decided to make a musical piece every day - coincidentally on 2021/4/1, in other words: 3 years ago, to the day! - she said she would do a daily drawing or painting as well. I always append her drawing to the end of my piece, but on most days, we are not creating simultaneously. Of course the music and the art are always created the same day.
@@sisypheanmusician9817 that is nice, sounds like you both are pretty ambitious 😄
that's a wonderful drawing
The artist formerly known as my daughter says thank you! :-)
Very cozy!
Yeah, sort of. I guess ...
Nice🔥
Beautiful
so nice, the next song could be in c maj?
Thanks Alvaro. I just did one in C Major: "My Song" by Keith Jarrett". I may have messed up a few chords, as this is all sight-reading improv, but overall I mostly served the changes correctly.
Another C major song today: "Mountain Greenery". The changes are mostly "Rhythm changes", so relatively simple. The bridge briefly modulates to F major and back again to C.
so nice. Thanks. I think you could put in the title something like "Dancing in the Dark - Piano synthesia" or something like that I think more people could easily found your videos :)
Thank you for the hint. I may in fact it a try
can you make a improvisation in C? pls
You want me to improvise over this tune, but in the key of C?
@@sisypheanmusician9817 yeah, but it can be another improvisation because all your improvisations are so good!
@@alvaromorenoacosta1518 Wow... I'm flattered and glad you like these little pieces. Today's "Dancing In The Dark" is a piece in C, so you may want to take a listen at that.
Beautiful
nicee
Awesome!
Thanks! This is soloing over the changes of Charlie Parker's tune "Confirmation".
Gr8
excellent! and on those mini keys!
Thanks a lot! The dynamics of the black keys on this instrument are difficult to dose...
@@sisypheanmusician9817 ah yes the dynamics...I can imagine that...these little keys sure are quite rough. but you really played the bossa nova well on the mini keys! pure artistery!

ルバートのつもりで弾いてなかった。その日ただ小さなバラードっぽい曲を弾いてみたかった。ほとんど即興だったから、迷いながらタイミングが悪かっただけだw
Nice! your videos are underrated.
There's a gazillion of channels on youtube, and quite a few by great piano players, so I totally understand that my little channel, with its lots of unfinished and duplicated pieces does not get a lot of attention. But I'm happy you like it, and I wonder how you discovered it. Through a youtube suggestion?
@@sisypheanmusician9817 Sometimes I'm looking for new channels that are making videos of synthesia piano in genres that I like :)
so nice
you Play Awesome, how much time did you play blues/jazz piano?
Thank you so much! I started taking Jazz lessons way back in 1999, and most progress was done in the first 2 or 3 years, I guess, learning from a superb Jazz pianist. But I always had problems with bad finger technique, which - after decades playing the piano, on and off - about 2 months ago I have finally figured out how to improve and I am making some progress every day, so I hope this new year 2022 will be the one where my fingers will turn pianistic! Happy New Year!
@@sisypheanmusician9817 nice story, have a googlear new year too
Nice
nice and you have synthesia of this one?
Thank you! You find it on day 86: ua-cam.com/video/WlWzy1isOKY/v-deo.html Day 84 has the sheet music: ua-cam.com/video/AnbDa7f7HNU/v-deo.html Both these versions I played just after I wrote this practice piece (on day 84), which is why they were played much more slowly back then.
@@sisypheanmusician9817 thanks
Nice
you play awesome, more synthesia please"!
Thanks a lot! Today's video is in Synthesia style again.
nice
Thanks. This tune is by this excellent pianist Andreas Gundlach, whom I discovered recently: ua-cam.com/video/HUBmSYWw130/v-deo.html
nice!
Thanks for the encouragement!
great
Awesome! more jazz blues
Can you do tutorial michel camilo caribe please
Unfortunately I'm only doing my own pieces, arrangements, improvisation, or simply practicing here on this channel. But thanks for making me aware of Michel Camilo - crazy fast hands and fingers, this guy!
Love watching that piano roll.
You can thank Simon Rodriguez for that: blog.simonrodriguez.fr/articles/28-12-2016_midi_visualization_a_case_study.html
