Zach Tesch (b. 1999) is a composer and violinist based in Kansas City. His prolific list of compositions contains works that range from traditional concertos, chamber music, and choral works to experimental pieces that challenge the definition of music itself. His works have been performed internationally, premiered by groups such as Chamber Project St. Louis, FUSE Quartet, and the PHACE Ensemble. He has studied with notable composers such as Chen Yi, Yotam Haber, Paul Rudy, Dirk D’Ase, and David Werfelmann, and has participated in masterclasses led by Anthony Green, Tina Tallon, and Oscar Bianchi.
He is also an avid baker of chocolate chip cookies.
