METAL TAG 2024( including losing my mind Testament botch up)🤪
Nice video. Some really cool pick ups you got. Enjoy them all. I don't know if you still like Thundermother, but they are releasing a new album on Friday called Dirty & Divine. I remember I gave you a CD of The Gems which had former members of Thundermother. I think you said you enjoyed that CD. Have a great week!
I do like Thundermother but they definitely aren't as good these days without the members from The Gems. I have been meaning to pickup some albums from them but havnt pulled the trigger yet. Cheers mate😃🤘
Hi Nathan!!! killer update, cool stuff too... i have seeing other vc channels showing some Rolling Quartz material. Not bad "unoffial" Death release, doesn't know that Bronze band, but looks interesting.... cheers and be well
Bronze are a really talented young band and the guitarist is awesome. I really enjoy Rolling Quartz and so hope to see them live one day. Cheers mate😃🤘
Excellent update! Good to see some Rolling Quartz (going to see them live later this month). I fkn love 'Symbolic' :) I like 'Sound ofnOerseverance' and also 'The Fragile Art of Existence' (by Control Denied).
I am a wee bit jealous mate. I am sure they will put on an amazing show. So happy to now have Symbolic on vinyl. I have heard a few songs from Control Denied but not full albums. Cheers mate😃🤘
Nice Update Nathan, I’ve never seen that Symbolic boot before , pretty cool
I found it at a distro in Australia and pushed buy now straight away. So Happy to have it on vinyl. Cheers mate😃🤘
Super cool update. Nice to see the latest from Delain,Xandria. Don't know about Crimson Sun,Patty Gurdy and some of the others. Are you moving from your house?
We may possibly be moving in the next month or two but not sure yet. If it was up to me we would be staying put but my wife and daughter have other ideas. I think you would enjoy Crimson Sun. Cheers mate😃🤘
Awesome update Nathan! I'm glad you got the latest from Delain, Xandria, Crimson Sun, Rolling Quartz and Patty Gurdy. Death's Symbolic is an undisputed classic.
Happy to have them all especially finally owning Symbolic on vinyl. As you say it's a classic. Cheers mate😃🤘
I meant to grab that Bronze album last yr but it slipped through the crax. Ced Forsberg, the guitarist, is also in Blazon Stone and Rocka Rollas. Killer player who was also previously in Crystal Viper and Steelwing. He's Swedish but I think the rest of the band is from Spain.
Nice to hear more about the band from you. The guitarist is bloody awesome. Cheers mate😀🤘
Nice to see BRONZE from Spain with Mina, ex KRAMP vocalist. Cool.
Bronze are so talented and happy to own the album. You certanly have some fantastic groups coming out of Spain. Cheers mate😀🤘
Symbolic 😀👍🤘 Steller update my friend.👍
Cheers mate. Super happy to own Symbolic even though it’s a bootleg.😀🤘
I have Xandria's Neverworld's End and Sacrificium on CD.
Both fantastic albums. Cheers mate😀🤘
Another cool tag. The vinyl tag is effectively a metal tag for us anyway because we always answer it with our metal answers. 🤘 Maiden's Live After Death is one of the best live. I'd also go with the Beatles over the Stones... by a country mile.As for 1974... I'd also struggle with that one as I wasn't born that year, lol. Always enjoy these videos. Take care.
70s music has never really been my thing apart from a few exceptions. It's all about the 80s and beyond for me. No you can't fault Live After Death. It's a killer album. I hadn't heard it until a few years back when BVD kindly sent it to me. All in all though I am not a huge fan of live albums as I prefer to see the live performance in person. Cheers Bev😃🤘
cool vinyl tag, the wall looks awesome great
Thankyou. I like to display all my signed stuff but I need a bigger space to display it all😃🤘
Hi Nathan!!! Well done and cool response to one of the many tags here in the VC...... Nice to see your Devilskin's vinyl collection. Yeah, nothing wrong with that Poison artwork or Maiden's "Live after Dead". cheers and be well
Cheers mate. I really can't understand how a tongue can banned from an album cover lol. Glad you enjoyed it😃🤘
Cool vinyl tag video with a lot of great bands in it.
Cheers mate😃🤘
I liked seeing your " Devilskin " collection Nathan.😈 I too had to pick up that RSD Skid Row - " Slave to the Grind " when it came out . For some reason it was easy to find here, overseas even the RSD version was pricey. Until other pressings came out. And before the crazed " Beatles " fans come at you. " Live and Let Die " is a Paul Mc Cartney " Wings " song, Not the " Beatles ". I saw Paul perform it live in concert in New Zealand, amongst other classics. One of my favorite concerts ever!. Poison " Native Tongue " , is a great album also mate if you do not know it. Nice Metal Tag, I mean Vinyl Tag!🤘
Just goes to show that I don't know much about the Beatles or the solo stuff lol. I always like to show DEVILSKIN to get there name out there more. They are planning on releasing a new full length album later in the year which I am looking forward to. Cheers mate😃🤘
I had to remove some of the music as my video was blocked due to copyright. Also made a blunder Live And Let Die is a McCartney song not Beatles. Just goes to show I don't know much about them lol
Great tag mate. I always thought Heartbreak Station had more of a country influence than blues, great underrated album though. Symbolic is in dire need of a reissue, but the same old ones keep getting repressed. Enjoyed this mate. Cheers
I just ordered a bootleg vinyl copy of Symbolic as I don't know if they will ever reissue it. I really enjoy Heartbreak Station these days which was even a surprise to me lol. Cheers mate😃🤘
I remember when I finally scored an og of Bonded By Blood, happy days! Great response mate.
Had to pay a pretty penny for it but well worth the money. Cheers mate😃🤘
Splendid entry Nathan. Happy New Year and cheers from Morten
Thanks mate and Happy New Year to you😃
@ 😊
Great tag response mate 🤘very cool your blind buy ended up being the album of the year, I don’t think many people could claim that also 🤘
Thanks for watching mate, always happy to find a gem I didn't even know about and love it so much Cheers😃🤘
Just discovered your channel thanks to this tag! Excellent response too! Ron Haggerty is a great guy been taking to him for a couple years now! So is Tainted Lord always comments on my videos! Just subscribed too your channel and looking forward ro checking out your content!🤘👍
Thanks a bunch mate, glad you enjoyed the video and happy to have you onboard!😃🤘
Great job, Nathan! I just subbed! Thanks for doing the metal tag! -Marty
Cheers Marty. Always Abit of fun to go through the collection, Super questions from Allan and yourself😃🤘
"Heartbreak Station" is my least favorite Cinderella album, even though I don't think they have any bad albums. If you haven't checked out their last album, "Still Climbing," it's awesome.
I have heard Still Climbing but don't own it. Good album though😃🤘
I was wondering if you are not offered Amazon Prime, which comes with free shipping here. If you buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, like I do, the free shipping that comes with the membership fee more than pays for itself.
Yes they do but haven't signed up to it yet. I will do though before my next purchase. Cheers mate 😃🤘
@@metaldownunder666 👍
Great video. Hope AE head down under again soon. They been my favourites for a long time too.
@@CA-qs5iu for sure mate. I just hope they are playing in Germany when I go back there in July. Cheers😃🤘
@ That would be amazing. I’d love to do a meet n greet one day, get a signed poster. Got to meet Michael and Jeff before the gig last tour, both were great and happy to chat.
I had to go to listen what kind of stuff Billybio is. Just because that artwork of album. I kind of liked though I was waiting to hear more punk or something like that. Rolling Quartz. Great new band that I haven't heard before. And they have visited also Europe. So you never know if they would come to here also. mr. FInglish (Bäd English Recs)
@@BadEnglishRecs Billy Bio is more NY Hardcore inspired just like the Biohazard stuff. Rolling Quartz are an amazing band and I do hope I get the chance to see them sooner rather than later. Cheers mate😃🤘
Hi Nathan!!! Well done and great response/entry to this year Metal Tag..... as you said some questions are kind pg tricky and needs some work too. Btw you're right about that Cinderella release, it was a big departure from their previous releases. cheers and be well
@@cristianosorio2517 happy that Heartbreak Station finally clicked with me. I found a couple of questions tricky but got there in the end. Cheers for watching mate😃🤘
Great stuff Nathan. That's a neat Bray Wyatt/Alexis Bliss photo in the background. The Jason mask is always a good decision.
Yes Jason Vorhees is my favourite movie character and Alexa Bliss is my favourite female wrestler. Thanks for watching mate😃🤘
Good tag Nathan. I've looked at the questions and thinking a handful are a little tricky so need to think a bit. Have never heard of your 70's band but good to hear how you managed to recall them and find a copy of the record. I will hopefully get this done soon. Keep on showing Out Of This World!! Phenomenal classic stuff. And congrats on 500 subs! Totally deserved!
I had to really put my thinkinking cap on for a couple of questions but got there in the end. Very happy that i got the Couchois album again. Its far from a perfect album but i have so much nostalgia for it. I hope you get the chance to do a tag as i always love your thoughts and stories. Cheers my friend😃🤘
Excellent response! Good shoutouts too. Congrats on 500 subs! Here's to (at least) 500 more :)
Thanks a bunch mate glad you enjoyed it😃🤘
Well done answering all the questions in under 30 minutes. Great answers to the tag🤘 Nice shout-out to " Bulletbelt " one of the bands I hope to see live this year, I loved their last album. I would answer pretty much the same about where I buy records from. I don't get anything from Amazon and used to love buying from Ebay Australia untill taxes and postage ruined it for me. Nice one mate🤘
Thanks mate. Bulletbelt are great live. I saw them when they opened up for Arch Enemy. I have looked at getting stuff from Ebay Australia but as you say the shipping costs are stupid. Nervgas has better shipping prices so I use them instead. Cheers mate😃🤘
500!Subs!!! Nice One Mate , very much deserved And great Metal Tag response , some very cool answers Leprosy 🤘💀 Cheers Brother 🤘🍻🍻
Cheers mate took a few years but finally got there. I have a tendency to lose a few subs here and there so will probably go below 500 again lol. Glad you enjoyed my tag mate. Cheers😃🤘
@ it happens Mate , same myself Cheers Nathan
Congrats on 500 subs hope you got more. Fantastic response- Had Lita Ford - Dangerous Curves from BMG 1991. Maybee i could send it your way through This Is music. Lots of good stuff you showed in your response.
Oh wow that's a fantastic gesture but don't go out of your way to have it sent as it can be an expensive album and if you wanted to lose it from your collection and sold it you could get a good chunk of change for it. Appreciate the idea though and it's completely up to you. Cheers brother😃🤘
@@metaldownunder666 Don't care so much of it's a og i got. But if i found it used i can get that and send the other to you at some point-
Great video! I'm happy you like that Fleshgod Apocalypse record. I remember reading they were a symphonic death metal band. You like symphonic metal and a little bit of death metal. Combine the two and we have Fleshgod Apocalypse. You told me you were looking for that Cinderella album, so I'm glad you are enjoying it. It's funny, I listened to the song Heartbreak Station today. You're a dead man for not knowing I gave you that Leah album. I'm just joking. I don't care if you mention me giving you those albums. Have a nice weekend! P.S. Congrats on 500 subscribers.
My brain doesn't work too well these days. I would forget my head if it wasn't screwed on so sorry for mix up with the Leah album. I bought so much in 2024 and received some killer vclt from you that I can't keep up lol. The Fleshgod is really good and so happy you sent it my way. Glad you enjoyed the video even though I am a dead man lol. Cheers mate😃🤘
Made a mistake with the Leah album. I now remember that after seeing Jeff's video I was planning on picking it up but Jim Davies sent it to me before I ordered a copy. Sorry Jim @jimdavies7592
Awesome response Nathan! Congratulations on hitting 500 subs now!
Thanks mate appreciate it😃🤘
Accept made my top 20. I have 1 Deicde album. Saxon my #2. I have the previous Frozen Crown. Unto Others went by another name, I have both of those albums the name eludes me. Lutharo are awesome. Priest is my #1. I need that Jenner. I saw Dark Tranquility about 15 yrs ago. Killer list.
I heard that Unto Others went by a different name and must give the earlier stuff a listen. Lutharo are such an underated band that need more recognition. I think they should go on tour with Unleash The Archers to get a wider fanbase. Cheers for watching mate😃🤘
Great list Nathan… I remember you talking about Dampf earlier in the year. Definitely enjoy your videos as they always have a lot of bands I’m unfamiliar with and I like to discover more new music. Frontiers do have the odd heavier band or two on their books. I have a couple of heavier ones as well. A really good label. I checked out Fans Of The Dark and yes they definitely have a bit of an 80’s vibe about them. And Nestor is another band I did not manage to pick up yet this year. Glad you have Priest and Saxon in there. Most people do this year. Take care. 🤘🤘🎸
Pretty hard to have a top list without Saxon and Priest in it and they are so good. The new Nestor is killer and happy that you gave Fans Of The Dark a listen. Cheers my friend😃🤘
Hi Nathan!! Well done and cool that you were able to find a nice local band, they sounds interesting. cheers and be well
Thanks mate. Really good young band. Happy New Year😃🤘
Interesting-sounding band. Best of luck in the draw. Happy New Year.
Cheers mate. Happy New Year😃🤘
Cool you were able to name a band from your hometown. Good luck in the contest. Happy New Year!
Happy new year to you and your family mate. Cheers😃
After making my metal tag video I realized I made a mistake on number 13. I forgot you sent me the latest Leah album as I was planning on picking it up but you got in first. Apologies mate. I corrected myself in the comments on the video
I never heard of Bad Schematics but they sound very interesting. I'll check them out. Good luck with Marty's contest, Nathan!
I doubt anybody has heard of the band outside my hometown so hopefully I can turn a few people onto them. Cheers mate and Happy New Year to you and the family😃🤘
Thank you so much Brother 🤘Interesting sounding band , gonna check out the link and their Social Media Best of luck 🍀 in the draw Bud , have a great New Year 🤘
Cheers mate. Happy New Year😃🤘
Quite a lot of new albums you picked up there Nathan, must have been pretty hard to narrow down to 24. Quite a few of these I haven't come across, so have added a few to the check out list. I'll give your top two a listen as they both sound like interesting albums, still need to check out Unto others as well. The Fans of the Dark is a good album, very easy listening.
Cheers mate. I hope you discovered a new band or 2 that you like here. Happy New Year😃🤘
Hi Nathan!!! Great video and nice to see you had an awesome year getting all those killer records in your collection a nice mix of newer and classic bands..... as usual you showed some bands that i have not heard before or not that much, so i will trying to check them like Rolling Quartz, All for Metal, Bros of Metal, Bloodawn. cheers and be well
Glad you enjoyed the video, hope you find some new faves among those bands! Cheers mate 😀🤘

Kool list mate including a number that were also on mine. A few of the bands I have never heard of before. Cheers for watching mate😃🤘
Awesome list of albums of 2024, Nathan!
Cheers brother. Merry Christmas😃🤘
Nice to see the new ACCEPT on vinyl, the art work looks so much better that way. Nice to see the new DEICIDE on your list. Its on my want list. Cool SAXON, i forgot about it when i was making my top 10, the cd was in a different room, not together with the rest of the 2024 releases. Anyway, i keep watching this video. Have a great christmas.
The new Deicide is the best death metal album of the year in my opinion. Some may disagree but that allgood. The new Saxon is really good and much better than Carpe Diem. Cheers mate😃🤘
@@metaldownunder666 Yessss, i agree about what you said about the new SAXON album, i also liked it much more then CARPE DIEM.
Great list with a lot of female fronted on the list. Nice music you got there.
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes so much awesome female fronted stuff this year. Merry Christmas mate😃🤘
@@metaldownunder666 Thank you i have just mention what i got from this year on my status on fb.
Nice and big top list of 24🤘I only picked up a handful of new releases and nearly all are thrash. Great to see you still supporting a lot newer bands🤘have a happy and safe holiday season my friend
I'm always looking for new and exciting bands and 2024 was no exception. Especially finding out about Dampf. I only picked up a handful of thrash albums this year and most of those were og's or reissues. Have a great and safe festive season mate😃🤘
