This show has so amazing script - all (even smallest) details is matters, all motivations is believable, all characters feel alive and have not generic visual design. + this is absolutely original concept; + mystery aspect was so well crafted; + this op song great and in ideal way resonate with general vibes of the anime = masterpiece. Good anime, good op and ed. I first watched it when i was 12 and obviously i dont getit most of times and then i rewatch this 12 years later. It makes more sense to me. Very underrated series and hoping for more 😢

This show is a masterpiece, it's a damn shame it had the bad luck of being released around the same time as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann... no wonder it was pushed to the side. Had it released a year earlier or later, it would have had the limelight it deserved.

Crazy how the newest mixed reality headsets don't come close to what they can do in this show even though I'm pretty sure they are capable of a lot of this stuff. Apple Vision could have done what they did in this fictional city and ask a random US city to agree to paint QR codes on walls and streets so their headset could integrate virtual signs, directions, not that I want them but you know they are coming: ads, even maybe fitness info not just floating but integrated into objects in the real world. Such a waste that their first impression could have been way more interesting.
