Superb command of time, melody, harmony and feel. Amazing. It's almost avante-garde, and yet holds form.

This is some of the best jazz soloist and ensemble work I have heard since the Miles Davis Quintet of the sixties with Hancock, Shorter, Carter and Williams.

Obviously they have played In The Crease thousands of times, interesting to see how they evolved it. The beginning of Branford's solo they introduce it so calm and how they go into the rhythm directly is masterfull. 4:26 Footprints quote.

Al must be in his 70's and STILL Blazes on the Electric Guitar ---- BRAVO !

Branfords music is art and his group is the best at what they do.
