Kidyo | Christmas Kuswar
Ingredients:
Coconut thick milk (1 full coconut)
Bombay rava(semolina) - 1/4 kg
Maida - 3/4th kg
Egg - 2
Salt - 3/4th tsp
oil - for deep fry
sugar - 1 cup
Preparation:
Whisk eggs in thick Coconut milk
Add little salt
Add Maida
Add Bombay rava
Mix it
Dough is ready
Place a cloth on top of the dough
Prepare small circular dough molds,place the circular molds on a comb , press and wrap it
Kidyos are ready to fry
Take oil in vessel for deep fry. As oil starts to boil add kidyo
Remove the kidyos that have turned golden brown ,Place them on a tissue
Prepare sugar syrup with using 1 cup of sugar and 300 ML of water
Stir it till you get one thread consistency
Now toss the kidyos in sugar syrup
Kidyos are ready o serve

Can be stored for long time if stored in glass bottle.

I don’t understand the lime. Probably not good for the yeast.
even the rice is not necessary if you already have raisin, sugar, yeast and water.
@@brandibrinks1843 But the acidity of the lime the yeast don’t like. 5 ph is good but anything lower the yeast will not perform at a higher alcohol level. You want a higher alcohol level test the juice. If it’s below 4 you’re drinking a weak wine, the yeast just won’t produce more alcohol.
@user-jc4yv7eg7c lime is for sourness as unlike grape fruit rice is not sour. Yeast is for fermentation.
@@brandibrinks1843 since this is rice wine we would use rice as the base for yeast to ferment on. dried raisin would provide the typical wine colour and not the key ingredient for fermentation

The recipe was fermenting with cashew fruit without much squeezing juice. We have tried it. For example of grape wine we don't put grape juice
