I'd like to see you drive that route in a blizzard someday.
All see what i can do Dave i am an old man on blood thinners i don't like the cold lol but that is an excellent suggestion though. nothing like lake effect snow coming in off the lake, are winters are getting mild last year the lake never froze and i only used my snow blower once
@@jwfusco1958 I was on Eliquis for a while. I get by now with one little aspirin. But I still can't afford a car so I enjoy vicarious pleasures by watching You Tube.

Looks like a nice day for a stroll.
I grew up in the Harbor and to me it is sad to see Harbor Football Field and Washington School gone. Of course many things have changed. I am glad that Bridge Street is thriving.
You should honk at us bridge operators. We usually honk back 😉
All make it a point and end even slow up if the traffic is light
@@jwfusco1958 I'm there midnight to 8am Wednesday to Monday
Heyyo! Love to see content of the bridge other than from inside the operators booth.
Since you blocked the comments about your mailman, I’ll put it here. It sounds like your mailman don’t like you lol
LOL thanks Chuck, i had to turn off the comments, that post was the first time i did a video to complain about something and i have over 1700 videos this is when i realized i opened myself up to all the trolls to say it was staged or i moved the car, i am lying and what is bad is i respond to these assholes instead of ignoring them . Have a great day Chuck
Do Cincinnati next im from the downtown area u can pull up for content ✊🏾🇺🇲
That’s a down-home down right downpour! Love your lush verdant lawn, landscaping and patriotic bunting. Happy 4th July and God bless America!
Hi Deb nice to hear from you, Happy 4th of July , take care and be safe
Very nice. Have had no real rain here since April, likely nothing until November.
Nice place.
Nice, peaceful and almost quiet.
I've walked those streets 1000 times as a kid.
Another good ride. I sometimes watch one of your tours during a spin workout.
That is pretty cool Dave Thank You for your support i appreciate it, there are many more to come
I drove this route from the Wal Mart to five points , nearly every day, and turned right and continued my way to work at Molded Fiber Glass Co for 42 years.
Thanks for a nice "ride around"
Thanks for a nice "ride around"
Thanks for the trip from Bula to my hometown of NKingsville. . . especially the turn into village green golf course where my Dad worked in the early 70's!
Your welcome Tom is there anything you would like to see in North Kingsville, let me know
Grew up on Bridge street, thanks for the glimpse of home.
Hi watching from Erie, PA. I enjoy your videos. I haven't been able to drive for 6 years now because of a chronic disease I was diagnosed with. It's great to watch the places I would drive to. I have some family that live in Ashtabula. Thanks again for your postings and music I grew up with too! 🚗
You are so welcome and Thank You for your support i enjoy doing them and have many more to post and the good lord willing plan on recording many more thanks again
I recall stopping there with a friend and his friends we went to an arcade which I wasn't particularly interested in then the excitement came we played mini golf there my second time at that course I forget which time put I had got a hole in one there I had one stopped in for a beer at a bar or tavern I don't remember I just had one and left because I was driving
Wish I was there. Thanks for the video.
Really like these...just like the rides Dad took us on after church on Sunday. Thanks for driving us around town.
You are so welcome and thank you for your support i really appreciate it
That hospital saved My Life One Time I believe the year was 1984 I didn't think I was going to pull through
Thanks John. Do you have a library of all you vidoes?
Thanks Frank this link will take you to all 1700 videos www.youtube.com/@jwfusco1958/videos
I recall the furniture store I remember I did one day job for them his son Kevin was a friend of mine he had may bring a friend that we went out to a warehouse somewhere near conneaut can move some big freezers around now I do recall that back road towards the end of the film I just couldn't remember how to get there thanks for doing this video I've got many memories of Ashtabula both good and some not so good
Nice I remember a place I used to go to just to hang out sometimes I took friends off and I just went alone you go to the east side of town I think you turned by the cemetery and went out to this area where at one time there was a Greyhound bus station next to a liquor store turn left when you go out to this place where there's a covered bridge I'm not sure if that's how you get there I think it might be a different way like I said I don't really remember a lot about it I really like that covered bridge down there I thought it was really neat I'd go down there often and just have a beer and sit and relax no music or nothing to stand on the bridge and look around I don't remember any cars that were coming I suppose I did like I said there's a lot that I don't remember it just seems so foreign to me these days I enjoyed these videos and your music and of course I already subscribed
I'd also decided not to worry about if I don't remember anything it's just great to see the town again
It's finally triggered some memories about Ashtabula I looked up my favorite restaurant Caruso's Pizza & spaghetti and was very sad to see that it was permanently closed I'm going to look into a way of finding out how to give Leo a call mother Caruso really had some excellent recipes and she would come in and make the wedding soup every Wednesday just fantastic recipes and a very strong menu I'm actually one of the customers that had everything on the menu before every item was just great there is very few places where I could actually make that claim well thanks for being out there I really enjoy your videos and music
Thank you for making these videos I watched a few of them before I subscribed and then I wasn't able to push like but I'm going to find them again I was really glad to see all the prosperity with like Walgreens Aldi's Aldi's places I don't remember I was there when I was about 20 23 24 25 however nothing I see looks familiar I've been watching a lot of films are about the only thing I remember they were going down lake avenue from the downtown I remember that of course I didn't see the stone cutting place that makes tombstones I don't remember that I saw one of your films went past the cemetery I don't remember it I remember the one that's kind of east of the downtown I used to work there to make up for getting some assistance while I was recovering from a broken ankle I eventually got on my feet and started working however I've been watching many videos about Ashtabula and it just looks are you know the harbor looks familiar with the downtown and the harbor but across the stores are all different in one video that someone else made a recognized what I think is the old JCPenney's downtown that I found out it was in the mall I don't even remember I'm all but thanks for being there hopefully I'll see something that I remember I thought I'd remember the kingsburg video but again nothing looked familiar I didn't even remember encountering that Lakeshore Park or lakefront Park whatever it was hopefully I'll see something familiar it's just like I'm seeing another state in town entirely some of the downtown videos made me very sad I thought the town was completely dying but I think it's moving out into a lot of stores on West 20th that's where I think you were in one video where you pulled into Walgreens towards the end by the way I like your taste in music I'm 66 on most now
It looks so green and peaceful
Great location! TONS of memories from TJ. Thanks, John!
Great video as always! Thank you and your doggie too! I can't wait to see where you guys are driving to next.
Thank you for posting, Highland Park and Beach was my favorite place growing up. There were many trees and a walkable beach with woods leading down to the water before erosion ...
Great driving song for cruising the sights! (Life is a Highway by Tom Cochran)
Groovy tunes John 😎
That was fun. Thanks again.
I used to walk and drive that stretch every day!
You drove past a house I lived in back in 1986. 1405 Columbus. Across from son of Italy. Thanks.
Nice music as usual!
Great ride!
