I live in Leamington as well by the police station lol. I was going to mention we have a Windsor, Town of Essex, County of Essex and Kent county in our area.

I lived there for ten years, left seven years ago. Friends tell me it has started to go down hill. Drugs, homelessness, people living in shop doorways.

Where do you get that from, Birmingham is still officially the second largest city in the UK with over 1.5 million Citizens living with in the City Boundaries and is over 150 miles square in size never mind adding the population of the West Midlands conurbation, Manchester is officially the 6th largest City in the UK, the City of Manchester is only 50 miles square with a population of just 554,000 citizens living with in the City of Manchester Boundaries, and do not do the usual thing of Mancunians of stating the population size of Greater Manchester as the population of Manchester as the City of Manchester is not the same as Greater Manchester. The City of Manchester is just that the City, Greater Manchester is just a name devised in the 1970's for an area comprising a load of other towns including Manchester in an area better described by the name used on the then PTE Buses run by Greater Manchester, South East Lancashire and North East Cheshire ( SELNEC) , the same happened in Birmingham when the West Midlands County ( Greater Birmingham as it was proposed to be called ) which comprises the Cities of Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton, plus a load of smaller owns previously in Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire such as Walsall, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Stourbridge and Solihull. So Mike Riorden I would do a bit more research on the matter before stating a load of rubbish on this matter and not only did the second City, Birmingham come up trumps with the 2022 Commonwealth Games but Brum has taken the European Championship games for 2026 the first time these games have been held in the UK. The list of the top 6 Cities in the UK as per Google are as follows; 1/ London 8.5 million Citizens 2/ Birmingham 1.5 million citizens 3/ Glasgow 613,000 citizens 4/ Liverpool 579,000 Citizens 5/ Bristol 571000 Citizens 6/ Manchester 554,000 Citizens So how has the City of Manchester suddenly overtaken Birmingham.

@@peterwilliamallen1063 touched a nerve have I, just look at Manchester compared to Birmingham,, proper football teams who do win things, a much bigger airport, the fastest growing city in the UK , the biggest rapid light transport system in the UK, , you Go on about the population of Birmingham and yet you're not even in the top 10 crowd pullers, we're also getting another indoor arena, so that will be two with capacity over 20000, now I must go as I need to watch the football , oh yes you won't be able to go to web again

@@mikeriordan6940 No you haven't touched any nerve, just putting you right, so you have one fairly good football team Manchester City and one fairly crap team since Ferguson left in Manchester United, Brum has two fairly good teams in Aston Villa and Birmingham City, but football teams doth not make a City in size position, this is why Birmingham is number 2 in size as 1.5 million people live with in the City Boundary where as only 554,000 citizens live with in the city boundaries of the City of Manchester and that is down to the population of a City not a metropolitan Council the City is in ie West Midlands County ( Greater Birmingham ) and Greater Manchester. The reason Manchester Airport is larger than Birmingham is in the beginning it was owned by the FAA like London Airport was both Airport being owned by the same people the UK Government , where as Birmingham Airport was owned by Birmingham City Council and only expanded when it came under the ownership of the West Midlands County Council, no Manchester does not have the biggest Rapid Transport System in the UK as London has the reputation with the deep level tube, the Metropolitan Railway and overground lines plus the Docklands light rail, all Manchester has is a Tram network and a load of Buses, yet Birmingham has an up and coming Tram System, a good rail system and is the HQ of HS2 Ltd, Avanti West Coast Railways, West Midlands Trains/ LNWR and National Express Buses and where as the City of Manchester is hemmed in by neighboring towns, Birmingham has room to expand it's housing stock on the South West Side around Rednal and on the Sutton Coldfield side where there is loads of green fields for future development to expand the City.. Again have you sen Birmingham, yes we are a top tourist destination in the UK as we have Cadbury World, the Headquarters of Sea world and Brum has the only UK walk through perspex tunnel to look under the aquarium, we have the world famous jewelry quarter, the biggest Primark store in the world, the biggest under cover shopping complex in the UK in the Bullring/ Grand Central shopping Malls, the Uk's busiest rail station outside of London Birmingham New Street Station, a Modern City Center full of top restaurants, two top Museums in the City Center, A top Cricket Ground in Edgbaston the Warwickshire Cricket Ground, Perry Barr Athletics Stadium which put on the 2022 Commonwealth Games apparently the best games in it's History and in 2026 to be the home of the European Athletics Championship the first time this has been held in the UK and Birmingham is teeming with visitors, so what other nonsense are you going to come up with about Manchester, just look at the Birmingham outlook on this video at 0.02 the start, a lot more depressing tan Manchester. The thing is I dought you have ever visited Birmingham in your life but I have visited Manchester and Worked in Manchester and Stockport, and Birmingham is far more cosmopolitan. Friendly and Modern than Manchester believe me.

@Michal I think you need to take a closer look of the whole City not just Broad Street, i think you would then find that the City Center of Birmingham out shines the City of Manchester (not Greater Manchester or the City of Salford) in out look and tall Buildings as beyond these shots there is a greater area of City Center past Broad street that has a lot more high rise buildings of which 5 are under construction in the Digbeth /Bristol Road area one of which will be the tallest building in the UK outside of London

Birmingham's total City scape view is loads better than Manchester, this video does not show the whole of the Birmingham City Center just the Broad Street area.
