Why new tires look like this...

#tires #tireshop #automotive When we get our tires in bulk, the way they are packed in creates tires that are indented. A lot of people are concerned that their tire is damaged but we'll show you that they are just fine by putting them on a tire balancer. Show us that tire balancer
Well the problem with a tire like this is, it is a possiblity that the tire is damaged now, the wires inside could get damaged by being over bent which in this case was def. done. I aint saying it always happens but its a possiblity so i personally wouldnt sell it to a customer. You do you do thinking "balancing" shows that the tire is still fine in the core. But what am I saying here I guess people in the us dont care about their quality of service and possiblities. Oh and before somebody says "nothing ever happened" yeah bud that doesnt mean that something isnt going to happen / could possibly happen. Our company being the biggest in Germany has a lot of tire recalls because of damage inside it be it from delivery and being dented as well as being mounted wrong.
he'll find someone to align it with play in it. Really common. And really mess everything up.
Also that is not what "cupping" is
I can deal with pretty much any mechanical repair, but a place tovwork, space and time limit what I will do. That is why, when you find a GOOD mechanic, you take care of them. My guy would probably do those repairs for $600 plus parts.
Because you shouldn’t have written it up for an alignment if they had a driving complaint. Alignments are maintenance and needed after repairs. They don’t fix anything. Just an example of a piss poor writer.
The chain hang off the front says it all 😂
Putting hige tires and rims on stock suspension...idoits
That pisses me off. A good shop would get ot as straight as possible and give thencustomer a receipt saying they had knowledge of the faults. Now that dudes gonna feel screwed cause you wont do anything
@@jaywomer2313 that is what we do to give the customer the best go forward possible. Although that in itself has problems. No matter how much you document it and explain it people still don’t understand the gravity of bad parts. Most of the time we get them better in the short term and they come in and get the work done though.
You just have to install and use regularly it will naturally fix itself.
Three ounces on just one side is pretty bad ever for a truck tire, probably needs atleast 7 oz that’s horrible
That’s what happens when you buy shitty prinx
It's cause they probably can't afford it 😭
Plus does that meet fitment? And that actually does not sound like dct.
Princess truck. Lol
I always complain how expensive it is only because i used to work at a few shops, all at a very low wage, just not fair for the mechanics who get paid150$ per day
As usual, UA-cam having a lot of people who are specialists in absolutely nothing.
They would rather spend thousands on prematurely worn tires than just fix the actual problem...
As usual… moron that’s something you don’t say. Keep on grindin and stfu. That customer don’t want to hear you…o wait he watched you 😂
Calling that cupping is very inexperienced.
The goose made me lose it 😂😂
SUCH a lame system - to be bothered SO easily, by nothing more than a tiny bit of vegetation. We have ruined reliability in cars and trucks, with all of this modernization and electronics, the quality of which is surely questionable. The Classic - EGRs in diesels !

Create drama with your lack of knowledge. Good game plan.
@@pyrodude3652so, as demonstrated these problems aren’t real? And those aren’t the proper solutions?
have people never handled rubber before ?? lmfao this is exactly what i thought would happen slowly went back into shape
Why are you blowing air directly into the MAS instead of using something like CRC MAS cleaner
Why the mechanics 🧰 are so overweight.😂
Please look at pre Ballance dots. And the big numbers.
"It's called tire cupping." No sir tire cupping is a wear symptom of damaged suspension
No DTC code, right? If there is one (b10a915), it means wiring?
What was the bill? 2k ?
Nah he just wants a sale.
People bring their wore out junk into a shop and expect miracles for fifty cents😂😂😂😂
That air filter looks a thouigh it's covered at least 20 thousand miles.
My shop doesn’t give a fuck the manager I work for fucking sells any and everything just to look good

Damn near EVERY Alignment customer I get lately. Buying used "expensive" cars thinking they're ballin till its time to do any type of maintenance to them and watch how many are stone cold broke, paying for ridiculously large wheels from some Rent & Roll joint.
I’m a construction worker, but as soon as something breaks on my cars/trucks, I go watch several UA-cam videos, and do it myself, I don’t even take it to a mechanic anymore for anything BUT alignment and putting on new tires. You guys over charge for every little job. Never had anything I’ve done fail or need redone by a mechanic including tearing half my engine apart for timing chains, or blown head gaskets. Yes it requires due diligence, do you part DIY guys, doesn’t matter what you drive, there’s a UA-cam video showing how to do it right. Costs multiple paychecks to have a days worth of work done you could do yourself.
Ive been an in city trucker for the last 7 years, i haul tires to cross docks all the time, most places dont have the special forklift attachment needed for stacks of tires and they will push big stacks of tires full speed across the rough floor for some distance, usually more than once. The tires in this C-Can are in as good of shape as they get before they get shipped out
The worst part of deformed tires is the fight with the bead cannon (or brake cleaner)
i got a tyre in my truck that unbalace from factory and my mechanic put two lead wheight do nothing
I’ve somehow gotten 20 year old tires to make it this long I’m still daily using them
My only concern would be the internal structure of the tyre on a real bad one. But realistically, it should be fine as tyre are designed to flex and they are shipped like this all the time. Would be interesting to see if these one do or do not lead to more blowouts in the long term.
A few hundred bucks doing it yourself or a few thousand having them do it. What do you think people are going to do rip off artists
No one likes the new $2000 minimum repair bills.
Cheap rims, cheap tires, and cheap lift system, of course they don't have money to repair their truck.
You just add air? Do people really think curved rubber wont re curve the way its supposed too??
Yes
This is the type of dude that wants to twll you he knows what jes talking about and to trust him.
You mean rubber goes back to its original shape when you put air in it? OMG Mindblown 🤯🤯
Happened to me yesterday. Dude's outer tie rods were about to break and he wanted an alignment. Ended up backing it out of course
They can replace the parts themselves and bring it back for the alignment, the only thing a shop has done for me in the past couple years has been a couple alignments
