Wow, not sure how you got hold of this show but I was there!!! Just on a lark decided to to see if somehow, someway this show was on the internet in any form. It is mind blowing for me to hear this. In fact, I saw many great shows at the Wollman Skating Ring all for $3.00 and under if memory serves correctly. I was also at the Ten Years After show at the rink one week earlier. Hey, after 50 years I hardly can believe it myself. I was just a teen at the time. Thanks so much for preparing and posting this. Outstanding.

I also recorded this program back in the early '80's. It totally blew me away!! They sounded so fresh and energetic in the early days. Jimmy and Robert are spot on, as are Bonzo and Jonesey.

I was there and couldn't believe it. They were like nothing I had ever seen and I saw a lot of bands. What a memory.

Are you saying there are edits on the 2014 release? Parts of songs were removed? So you used a different source for this mix? Not the 2014 official release? Well, this mix sounds pretty good. It seems the drums are a bit drier and more present here. I think I hear the bass drum a bit more here.

I agree that this sounds better than the other one on UA-cam with the big zeppelin picture. Quieter but better balanced. Great job.

The Isaac Hayes bit a totally cool. Reminds a little of one of Zep’s 1973 jams like No Quarter with the piano underlying the guitar. I suspect Zeppelin dug this

Page’s solo on Communication Breakdown was a textbook or encyclopedia of Page’s arsenal of major/minor pentatonic licks. He threw them all out there. Very cool.

This is one of the best or the best live show . In my opinion their tastes expanded but for emotion power drive Forget it . I don’t want to offend any Hendrix fans , his band was never this driven they had sounds and theatrics not this rock jazz blues energy . IMHO

Is this the first time he played the Les Paul ? Was it before this or during this month ? Still trying to find out when he started either it , it’s hard to hear in a live setting, this does sound more humbucker . Any ideas ?!

I thought the Len Zefflin naming was a part of 'using a different name every night....& it began with the Scandinavian tour just prior to landing in Seattle during a blizzard they then had to drive un-ploughed roads all the way to Spokane & were introduced as "The NOBS", at least according to "HAMMER OF THE GODS", B T W *I think what your doing getting these shows out to many who couldn't get access to bootlegged Zep what with Peter Grant: Richard Cole and an army of roadies would shakedown anyone makin a $buck$ off the band & they didn't get "their 85-90%"...because 10-15% of dangling off Led Zeppelin was a better bet & less broken bonesL8rsk8r!

I love your channel. What an amazing show ..I just wish more of these would’ve been recorded right? What is fascinating is I think you can hear what the beginning of Alice Cooper set but imagine following that onslaught.
