My Favorite Local Trails | Apex Park, Colorado MTB
Riding Apex Park in Golden, Colorado! I'm lucky to have this trail system 15 minutes away from my home in Denver. Lots of rooty and rocky tech here, but it's the fun type of tech that isn't too janky (cough cough Dakota Ridge). I get lost on this ride, but that's half the fun of mountain biking anyways :) enjoy!

Big Climbs = Big Descents | White Ranch, Colorado
Переглядів 2432 роки тому
Mountain biking White Ranch just outside of Denver/Golden, Colorado! The Belcher climb is a real struggle, taking me about an hour to get from the parking lot to the top of White Ranch. After I reach the top, I take Belcher down until I get to Longhorn, and take Longhorn the rest of the way. My only gripe with White Ranch is that the descent isn't longer. It feels like a lot of work and climbin...

This trail is the type of trail I envision when I think about mountain biking. Up on a mountain ridge, rocks everywhere, jank, and some flow here and there. Strava: www.strava.com/activities/6189475040

Are these the best MTB trails in Texas? | Reveille Peak Ranch
I love Jester Park
This is some nutty shit lol I hope to be this good some day
what do you use to record
How can I ride there ?
SICK!!
I am in Austin. Don't you have to have someone provide access to Cat Mtn? Or can you just pop in?
I’m newer to the mtb scene here in ATX. I’ve done moto my whole life and have been able to transfer skills over pretty well (jumping is quite different). Do you have any recommendations for trails more on the exciting/advanced side? Walnut has been cool but looking for other stuff
Flat Creek Ranch, Reveille Peak Ranch, and Spider Mountain are all great for more advanced riding! All 3 have good jump lines, tech, and flow. Definitely better than walnut creek
Damn bro! You're a f^$%ing beast! I would have died in the first 60 sec.
😂 trust me, I definitely was terrified on all these trails. They push me to my limits
You have to come back I’m an employee at spider and safe to say you will love it. Recluse venom and antidote have been rebuilt from top to bottom whole new trails with antidote now being a black line
Nice, that's good to hear! I came and rode spider over Christmas time and it was running great. Love the new drop on sleep tight. Will have to come back and ride the updated trails soon
How can I get to that 2nd trail? I've only been able to find the first one.
man you got some good jumping skills
I lived in green mountain village for 20 years and rode dakota north and south at least a hundred times. Then you cross the highway and go thorough mathews winters do the morrison sliide in red rocks park, that's a pretty good ride.
Sheeesh that looked fun, I wanna ride those trails next summer! You should get your suspension serviced since its winter there now 🤘
I rode Enchanted Forest today, the snowy conditions are so fun!
Nice! I'll have to check it out. I haven't been back since the snow started
Looks like pretty cool trails. Ride on 🤘
Nice! Love this area. I called Winter Park home for twenty years. Good riding. Ride on 🤘
Sick singletrack and video!
Amazing views and flowy goodness!
Very scenic area
You know its insane when it looks crazy on camera... Great riding and awesome trails love to see it :)
Thank you!
Love these trails. Wish I could ride them like that. 😂
Where is Cat Trails?
I live in ATX. Where is the trail?
Nice work dude. I rode this today. Very hard trail. You crushed it.
Thank you! I need to get back out there soon. Tough trail for sure
That’s a tough line man! Nice job working through it! Having the tow in for that left hand wall ride has helped a lot of people.
Yeah that wall ride definitely took me a long time to warm up to, but it's actually super smooth
That looks so good. Cant wait!
This put a smile on my face today 😎🤙
I NEEEEED to get out here!
Yes you do!! Lots of fun out there
I just planned a trip to Boulder to visit a buddy today. Funny how UA-cam recommends this video... Definitely gonna hit this spot. Great video and great riding too
Thank you! I need to get up to Boulder to ride, haven't explored many trails there. Have fun!
Omg ur amazing 😍
That trail looks delicous! Are you riding a Pivot Switchblade 29er?
It was! Nope, riding a 2020 Pivot Mach 6! It's a 27.5in front and rear
Gah damn that looked sick I hope I can come visit later this month!
Subbed! Great content and motivation for me to venture to new shredder down hills!
Thank you!
Nice tips , shred on man 🤘.
So under rated
🙈 pքɾօʍօʂʍ
I cant find this on all trails, but something does come up in google maps this isnt a secret or local trail is it? i live in austin and i really wanna try this
Wow cool
I heard you liked the music huh?
Sweet ride bro! You were flying through that chunky stuff!
Thank you! Just letting the bike do all the work 👍
Damn those trails look sick you were flying! Makes me excited to ride in Colorado this summer
Yeah man this place is super fun! I wish the descents were way longer. The climb to the top is rough 😅
@@schlag4591 how many miles is the climb?
@@doubleamtb8922 it's about 4.5 miles and ~1800 ft of elevation gain. It doesn't help that some parts are very loose with a bunch of babyheads
Hmu I have to know where that gap is at !
Sick riding dude
Thank you!
Great video man, looks like some tough tech climbing and you crushed it. Dakota is on the top of my list for this summer.
Appreciate it man! Honestly one of the toughest techy places I've ever ridden but super fun. Let me know when you go ride out there! I live about 25 minutes away and am always down to ride over there
How long have you been jumping on a bike? I've been riding for 4 years but haven't committed to learning how to jump because of last crashes.
I've been riding MTB for about 4 years now, started doing small jumps about a year in. Just start small and work your way up! No need to go right into the big ones
Rad man
Killer video! I am here in Austin and I will be getting to this trail soon. Cheers!
Niceee it's a blast! Be safe and have fun
Where is this?
Is that the Firebird, Switchblade, etc... What bike do you have?
Its a 2020 Pivot Mach 6. 160mm front 155mm rear. 27.5" both ends
@@schlag4591 okay sweet! Thx:-) Love the bike bro!
@@DCWFilms_ appreciate it man! I love it too, highly recommend Pivots. I got this one gently used if you can find one like that. Much cheaper than brand new
@@schlag4591 Yea for real, them Pivots are PRICY new! 😢
@@DCWFilms_ for real, that's the one downside of Pivots tbh
What kind of bike do you use?
Hey Ruben, I ride a 2020 Pivot Mach 6! 160 mm up front and 155 out back. 27.5" wheels
Yoooo keep making these! Lets go ride soon!
Oh damn what's up Spencer! Where you living these days?
