Bees Inspection 23112024
Second inspection of the Cup Day Bees.
Moved an ideal frame into the brood box to encourage the bees to work on it. Will move this up into the ideal super once it is built upon to hopefully encourage bees to migrate through the queen excluder.
Good to see the queen still alive and larger than last inspection.

This is the noise a Panasonic NR-BY552XSAU inverter refridgerator sold in Australia makes. This fridge makes this noise for 45-60min every 8 hours. I assume it is the defrost cycle as the walls of the fridge get hot to the touch (around 50°C). In my opinion, this is unacceptible. This is the noise a Panasonic NR-BY552XSAU inverter refridgerator sold in Australia makes. This fridge makes this noise for 45-60min every 8 hours. After Harvey Norman replaced it 3 times they said I need to pick a different fridge.

I received this fridge today in melb. Haven't had this sound as of yet and I hope I don't lol anyway.Are you still getting this sound? What other cons you have with the fridge? it seems like to me the top two shelves in the fridge are less cold compared to the rest of the fridge. Have you experienced this? I will appreciate if you reply thank you.
The thing with this new designed fridge wc is the freezer at the buttom, cold air needs to be pulled up by a blower or fan from the freezer below. While in the old setup was vice versa, cold air could easily go down from the top freezer to the fridge below. The advantage of this new setup like you noticed that top shelves dont get too much cold wc is part of the new concept to store foods that doesnt need to freeze or gets too much cold, coz in this new design temperatures inside the fridge varies from top to bottom and they deliberately designed it that way so you just need to get use to it now or get familiar with it.
hmmm, ours does the same, like a buzz. When I push on the front of the fridge it stops......
