    Believe it or not, he was cia-paid-&-equipped to go across the Atlantic to guard the Cabinda exclave oil fields for Standard Oil(Rockefeller) against the FNLA, the largest & most ancient movement for Angolan independence, right upon Portugal 🇵🇹 withdrawal. The 1st 🥇 MPLA patriotic leader Agnostino Neto wanted too to control the Cabinda oil, & got Kremlin-0perated in the stomach & never recovered. It never pays to be patriotic when you’re interdependent.

    I grew up hearing Liberation Theology was just Communists in Cassocks. In grad school there was a big chapter on Liberation Theology that just sounded like throwing the baby out with the bath water. From this video it sounds like LT is making the same mistakes of the Protestant Reformation in England. By getting rid of the monasteries soon the Commons were lost as well. The Church having an intimate connection to the halls of power gives a conscience to the powerful.

    Cuba and its socialists destroyed Angola by putting the MPLA in power, to this day the country suffers from massive wealth disparity as a result. The MPLA chose violence because they knew they wouldn't win in a fair election against FAPLA and UNITA. If the Cubans had not intervened at the battle of Lunda, then MPLA would have been defeated and Angola would have secured a more democratic and free path, yet that was not so. Now the small ruling party class live as millionares living in luxury brushing shoulders with celebrities, while the people starve on the outskirts of Lunda. Castro and his commie thugs destroyed a country for nothing more than fanatical ideology.

    Is Confucianism a religion and if so does it believe in any god?

    • @dr.gaosclassroom
      @dr.gaosclassroom 2 роки тому

      Great Question! Confucianism as a philosophical tradition prescribe ethical principles and political structures in its earliest form pre-Qin Dynasty before the third century BC. From the early Han Dynasty, Confucianism integrated thoughts from other schools to created a Confucian theology such as Heaven Mandates as well as the Ancestor worship adding a religious parts to the tradition. Ever since the Han Dynasty, Confucianism became both the State ideology and religion. You can check out the Book of Rites or 礼记 to find the ritual ceremonies throughout the calendar year. The Emperors of the Han sacrificed to his ancestors, heaven, earth, rivers, and mountains. Whether it was not clarified who were the gods residing the heaven, earth, rivers, or mountains. I believe that the Confucianism does not specify personified gods, it might be too hard to explain the Confucian theology here. I run a channel on Chinese philosophies and poetry. I am going to post a video in the next month or so for the Confucian cosmology as well as theology explaining the sacrificial ceremonies in a calendar month, if you would live to join me, here is the link to my philosophy video which talks about the rituals that was later integrated into Confucianist theology: ua-cam.com/video/CN0YztHOnVE/v-deo.html

    Who would want to live forever.. in this shit hole we call Eden. Who would want to go to school when they can't even eat or focus enough or be stable enough or have money enough. American dream is a lie. Who would want false promises made to them. And who really has a choice in the matter. You don't. When you only have a few days till the man comes for his rent where you only have a few days till the inspections due or you only have a few days until you put out. I ask what hass God done for me. You may have done something for you. Or you may have been born into it. That's not fair. That's not equality that's not oneness and that's not love. Peace ✌️

    Love is a feeling, of utopia peace of mind. It's the feeling of being free of negative thoughts. It's the highest feeling, though can't be sustained. To get love people need to venture into places that don't offer such feelings of love. Love is a government, where the capital is a washing machine.

    Hi Prof. Great presentation indeed. I just thought you would also like these episodes of the SA Border War in Angola, put together by Kevin Hamann. ua-cam.com/channels/LRBV4ySxtAL8YyHwE8hRNQ.html These are stories of what really was happening on the battle fields day by day. I thought you would enjoy them, even though they are much being reported from the SA perspective it will be great to learn what those men really went through. My interest in the subject is due to the fact that this war led to the Independence of my motherland, Namibia. Cheers.

    Amazing...stupidity at is best...ignorance is not always a blessing... Let's see Britain, France, Spain,Portugal, Spain and so on...dealt with slavery centuries ago. People should stop leaving in the past and move on, that was the world then we can't change History but we can change it, make life better if we do it together. Black, white, yellow, brown, green, red are only colors there is no offense on them. Some people feel intitle because they great...great....great...great parents were slaves. Life must been hell then. Think about it, not all white people had slaves only a few VIP families. It's like saying all blacks are robers, assassins good for nothing but trouble. We know better than that. I am sick and tired of the so called " Politically correct " By the way in Angola black and white people use the same public transportation, shopped on the same stores, went to the same schools kidding you not. I am Angolan and proud...most of this conversation that we are listening is bull. Fidel Castro sent the criminals of Cuban jails to fight in Angola. Yes Cuba has great doctors but cubans have a very hard life themselves Fidel should had take care of is own people. Russians came afterwards. So many black Angolans left Angola after 25th April 1975, they knew what was going to happen...I don't recognize Angola anymore, so much misery, there is troops all over 2 or 3 people walking together is a no no, they have to disperse, no pictures allowed...they don't want the world to see what is goin on, so much more my heart is heavy with sadness. What I don't get is all the complaining about the past...there is slavery today, you just have to look of all African continent, China, Russia, USA and so on, they enslave they own people. It's a different kind of slavery, nevertheless it's still slavery...they pay peanuts to their employees for hard long day's work. So if you want to fight slavery start there, today...not the past...like the meaning of word past is past...look haed to the future. Be kind to each other life is to short to leave with resentment.

    Liberation Theology as was thought by the Peruvian priest describes how the poor people of Peru and other Latin American countries are extremely oppressed by the oligarchs that hold reigns the government and using it to enrich themselves at the expense of the poor, the working class and the peasants. This extreme imbalance between the poor and the rich that also exploit the poor is used by communist insurgents in their quest to sow communism and make Latin America a communist continent. the dire poverty and extreme richness of the few who also have the government reign is being exploited by communist cadres and propagandists that communism is the best for the people because they will become equal in life with the rich when all property and source of production belongs to the proletariat. The church's teaching of the gospel is now use to pro-up communism because of Jesus and the apostles teachings that are pro-poor. The Latin American situation is not the same in the Philippines while many are poor many are working their own farms albeit so small compared to the hundreds or thousand of hectares owned by the oligarchs. Those who are industrious, especially the poor farmers/peasants can still live a decent life but unlike the decent life of the rich. It was when the communist propagators start to take arms to defeat the government when martial law was declared for the sate to defend itself that communism failed to become a potent threat to take over the democratic government of the Philippines.

    Your Video ' Why did Fidel Castro Intervene in the Angolan Civil War? ' Anu, as you start mentioning why Castro sent troops to Angola, you already got your facts wrong. You said that Castro sent troops into Angola to defend the MPLA from South African troops. Cuba had troops in Angola long before the South Africans entered & there was an ulterior motive connected with the Soviets. Cubans were already in Angola early 1975, with many more arriving in August 1975. Also READ up what the ex Cuban commander of the Cuban Airforce had to say about the Castro governments planning of the Cuban mission into Angola 1975, that will give you a better idea of what really went down. You must understand that before any mission starts, a lot of planning takes place, then other things happen as in getting forces , weapons, transport etc together for a mission which takes time. Another thing to ponder on is when you mentioned the matter of Cuba 'not' intervening in Angola as a Soviet Proxy. Think about this then, Cubans troops arrived in Angola while the Soviets sent in the weapons that they the Cubans were going to use in the conflict, that had to have been planned some time before the operation started ?? You also make mention that the largest military confrontation was The Battle of Cuito Cuanavale. The fact is yes it might have been the largest battle, but what you do not mention is that the main battles were happening during 1975 many years before The Battle of Cuito Cuanavale , in many different areas of Angola between the Cubans & South Africans. Not much is written and explained about this period of the battles involving Operation Savannah [ the code name used by the South African mission into Angola 1975 ] & Operación Carlota [ The code name used for the Cuban mission into Angola 1975 ]. Abu you been a Professor of History, you should not believe everything that these governments record as History or what they told the world as to what was happening as many of the main truths are not told or recorded anywhere, as you just end up spreading more of their propaganda. I have done a lot of research on the War in Angola during 1975-1976, and have managed to get hold of hundreds of Documents, photos & stories from people involved in that War. You will be very surprised one day when I release my story.

    儒教上帝创世 Dewa Konfusianisme menciptakan dunia Confucian God created the world 世界创生以前,阴阳未交,乾坤未划,万象未成。洪荒宇宙一片,混沌迷蒙。没有阳光,没有雨露,没有万物,没有生命。是昊天上帝化生了万物,创造了生命,创造了人类,创造了世界。 关于“天帝创世”儒教经典中有详细的记载。 《易经》曰 大哉乾元万物资始乃统天。云行雨施品物流形。 大明终始六位时成时乘六龙以御天。乾道变化各正 性命。保合太和乃利贞。首出庶物万国咸宁。 其意是说,昊天上帝的创世功德多么伟大,宇宙万物赖天恩天德获得生命,得以生成万物皆统属于天。云行于天雨施于地,万物具象成形生生不已。天帝命日神乘六龙之辇,运行于天,而有日出日落,昼夜循环。万物皆本天命,各成其性、各正其位、各得其所。宇宙世界保持着中正和谐的天秩天序。 这就是儒教的创世纪。 朱子诗云 气体苍苍故曰天 其中有理是为乾。 浑然气理流行际 万物同根此一源。 依儒教经义,昊天上帝是万事万物的化生之源,是宇宙秩序和人间世界的创造者。“天覆育万物,既化而生之,有养而成之,事功无已,终而复始”,世间万象,宇宙万物,全都统属于天。“无天而生未之有也。天者万物之主万物,非天不生”。宇宙万物是昊天上帝所化生,人间世界是昊天上帝所创造。人与万物皆承天命、沐天德、受天恩而得造化得养长。 “天执其道为万物主”,道贯乾坤大化流行。天帝造物、创世并非随意而为,乃是有道而施,循理而与。宇宙万物、世间万象皆禀天道、天理而各成其性。所以物性即是天性,人道即是天道。识物性可知天性,尽人道可知天道。天地万物本为一体,而“仁”一以贯之。“天地万物一体之仁”就是昊天上帝化生万物和养长万物的天道与天德。万物各正其位、各得其所、宇宙世界、秩序井然是为天秩天序。 昊天上帝全善全德全知全能是宇宙万物的最高主宰。 《诗》云 明上天照临下土神之听之介尔景福。 皇矣上帝临下有赫。监观四方求民之莫。 昊天上帝伟大而威严,高高在上,照临下界、监管人间,滋养万物、辅佑下民,赏善罚恶。昊天上帝无所不在、无所不能、无所不知。天德流行、无所不至、天恩所加、无往不惠。天罚所施、无有不严。宇宙万物、人间万象、是非善恶。都无所逃于天网恢恢,疏而不漏。 大哉昊天 钦哉上帝
