I remember the result, but had no television and knew the Lady Bulldogs were in the final 4 but had no idea Connecticut had that won that many in a row until just now. Dare I say - this game really changed women's CBB for this generation. It released the stranglehold that UConn had - they haven't been the same since, and so many other teams have stepped up. Notre Dame, South Carolina, Stanford - the women's game leveled up here. And that's no shade to UConn and what they've accomplished. But the "table" has a lot more people around it now.

"Easy run" the commentator says... as he had to stiff arm an open field tackler 1 on 1, then cut back against the covering defender, be patient enough to follow his blocker, and beat yet another defender in a race to the pylon. 🙃
