This is all garbage. I had two baby boys and with both births (years before gender could be identified prior to birth) my doctor announced "it's a boy" at just about the same time they let out lusty first wails.

The moment you change the baby's diaper you would see if it's a boy or a girl. It's not like a having a kitten where you have to look under the tail, Or some species of birds or fish where you can't tell just by looking. It would be one thing if they both had boys or both had girls. Or if they were both artificially inseminated and they both ended up with the same donor not knowing they had the same donor. Switching babies of opposite genders is highly unbelievable.

They called these "Horatio Alger" stories. Good boy fixes the elderly man's flat tire. Little did the boy know he was the richest man in town! The boy is left principal heir to his estate.

Why did the grandfather think the twins were having girls? Also you would call the one girl Alex sometimes. When I had my kids I was told what sex they were when they lade them on my stomach to cut the cord and when I held them I checked them out. Plus my doctor came in my room later and we talked about the sex,who they looked like etc. You need a new proofreader!

This is nonsense. ID bracelets or tags are put on each child very soon after birth. The tag will have the surname of the child: Baby A Smith means the first twin. The children leave the hospital with the tags still attached.
