Alegrías is a 12 count rhythm in flamenco, and is one of the more happy palos in flamenco
One of the most recognisable parts of an Alegrías dance is the escobilla, where the dancer gets to show off his/her footwork skills 💃🏼💃🏼
To get you started on mastering this important part of flamenco, I am putting together an escobilla challenge, where you can learn some traditional escobilla steps
Each week we’ll build on the previous week’s steps so by the end of the challenge you’ll have a complete 2 minute escobilla choreography
We’re learning flamenco technique and putting it into a dance, so you can dance flamenco right NOW!!
