Good job Carson! A couple of things, try not to be drawn to the table. Keep a distance. More importantly, this should result in a sideline throw-in. Learn how to determine the correct throw-in spots! Keep up the good work!
Apprecaite the comment. The way we were teaching it this is right on the line of being at the baseline or sideline. As long as we are confident in that call I am glad with it. The players won’t complain about that part

Hey bro I'm a new ref and just recently got my black and white stripes i find these videos helpful but do u think you could try and make like just one big long video with all your smaller ones in it combined? (if that made sense).
Challenging for me to do now since I don’t have the videos anymore. My best option would be using the playlist created and it should auto play each video one after another. Best of luck with officiating

Valid point, it’s such a close play where there may not be enough evidence to overturn if it was reviewed
Yeah that’s a block, for more inexperienced refs that’s a charge but he was still not set and watching it the first time I could tell you it’s a block. Understanding though Ik you’re trying to teach and it’s close enough

Ik this is a poor place to ask, but I started playing volleyball and I think I’m gunna try out for the team next year Any tips? And I’m not sure what position I wanna play
I don’t have the best volleyball specific tips, but tips for wanting to join any team like that -put in as much effort as you can -ask questions on anything you don’t understand, want to learn on, or anything. This shows that you are interested and you want to develop your game and learn more about the sport - go in with an open mind and willing to learn and try new things Best of luck at tryouts
Hi! I’ve play vb for a year now I recommend if you go to school, see if they have a volleyball practice program or if their is any club volleyball places you could go to. I recommend buying a vb and start practicing at home by yourself or with a friend. Hopes this helps! Good luck on ur journey 💗

@@benson238Yeah, but i also think it could be called in a real game, he went for the ball too far from the net, which is also a thing they judge when defining whats a block. I get the ideia anyway
Indeed definitely not a block. He jumped up towards the ball to touch it , he didn't jump up before the ball is on its way to crossing the net. He even PLAYED it upwards with his hand turned towards his own field... you can't consciously play the ball in a block. Could've made a better demonstration...

It's only illegal if the back row player steps on or past the attack line, not if they hit the ball higher than the net.
