If the indicator is 10+ years old then you would need to use 10% of capacity to calibrate. If newer than that check the wiring in the platform. There is video on channel on how to fix floor scale. Did you make sure you put weight during the adload on the screen. If you did correctly try 1 more time. If that doesn't work you might have a problem with your OP902. You would need to replace the indicator with a new indicator like our OP909. They are $165 + tax + shipping. You can email sales@optimascale.com to purchase. You might need to check the indicator settings to ensure it is set to continuous and that the correct baud rate is selected. If the settings are correct, you may need a null modem cable, as pins 2 and 3 are swapped. However, if you are already using a null modem cable, try switching to a regular (non-null modem) cable. Alternatively, you can purchase a DB9 null modem adapter (male to female). The female end plugs into the DB9 male connector of the cable, which then connects to the indicator. This will also swap pins 2 and 3. Pin 2 is TX (Transmit), and Pin 3 is RX (Receive) on the DB9 connector. These items are readily available on Amazon. If none of this works, there might be an issue with the internal board. Finding the correct cables and null modem adapters can be tricky. Thanks, Anthony

No since there is 4 load cells. The indicators only have room for 1 connection. You can connect one load cells directly to indicator but that is all. Other option would be to buy OP903 which has 4 5 pin connectors and attach a 5 pin connector to each load cell and connect that to each port of 903. Thanks, Anthony

If your readout is older than 2-3 years old there might be a problem with the readout. You might need to replace. We discontinued the OP902 and replaced with OP909JR. You can use a 12 port junction box. We only have 10 ports here. Second option is to use to SECTIONAL junction boxes for example 2 8 port junction boxes where 1 goes into into to the input of the other junction box. Diagram would be readout -> junction box 1 (4 load cells) -> junction box 2 (8 load cells).

error 3 is input signal is negative. This usually happens when the green and white wires are swap and giving a negative signal. You can check the C15 setting to see how it responds to weight. The video on the channel called how to fix a floor scale explains more about this. error 4 happens when weight is unstable. Usually customers put too many decimals that their scale can't handle. Try to use less decimals and try out. If it still happens then probably damaged cable to readout. Check C15 setting as well. I haven't seen the dashes probably overload or short in cable. These are reachable. Same as a phone they are not meant to be replaced. These batteries should last from 3-5 years depending on how often they are used. Anthony

Calibration is stored on the indicator. Load cell is just a sensor. If you take the calibrated indicator and switch load cells to a different load cell of same capacity it will weigh the same.

I turn on my scale and all is says is "un-st then after a moment fluctuates in weight to 14kg and then goes to o-ld " it doesn't start up normally it just says unst ...

Only way to tell is making sure all wiring is correct and tight and recalibrate. If there is water in the junction box then that will cause fluctuating weight.
