It helps with the smell! I believe that oil is essential to hair growth in general, but it is not necessary when making your rice water.

ive never washed my rice water, and it still worked. My hair went from like 4inches to 10 inches in like 3 months, I just used rice, aloe and conditioner.
How often do you apply it and how long do you leave it in for.. please and thanks.
I use to do mine 3 times a week and leave it in for like a hour.
But then I would mix the rice after with leave in conditioner and never wash it out sometimes

Okay just transferred the boiling hot rice water to another pot, put some jamaican black castor oil in cus its all I have, mixed it a little bit, now I let it sit/ferment for how long before use? Id like it to be somewhat warm bcs my hair is low porosity

@@Nyshellm yep! I usually wash my shampoo my hair first, conditioner, then spray rice water on it leave it for about 10-30 minutes then rinse it out with water. My hair grew down my back, the longest it’s ever been. Only did it 2-4 times a month. ✨
