I only play 9 player tables. When you have a monster hand, there is a higher chance of someone having a good hand as well. You can make more off them.

This is wild. I have never played poker tourneys before. It is so different from cash games. I think if I played free roll tourneys. It will give me bad poker habits.

How many times have tou made it ti final table? Ive made it about 13 times but its starting to get harder , there are more better players than before

Ok, any A, 6, 4, or j not any spade because his hand is off suit. There are three Js and 4s left because he has them in his hand. (the Js and 4s) 6 + 8(the aces and 6s) = 14(his outs) (Cards in a deck) 56 - 14(his outs) = 42, 42 - 6 (my cards and the community cards on the until the turn) = 36(my outs), 36(my outs) > 14(his outs) lmk if the math is wrong. (Btw, the reason I put this hand left me confused is because dude literally called my all in with not even a pair. Do you play like that, I’m curious?) tldr: thx for the help

How come u didn’t raise pre flop?
They were playing super aggressive the last few hands and I thought if I raised they would put me all in. Even tho AJs is great, I didn't want to take that line of play this time

He had open ended straight draw and flush draw
The fact he’s even playing 85s in the first place, and went all in with nothing but draws as well he knows he loses unless he hits a draw, which he has less probability of than any other card landing. The fact that left me confused is the difference in gameplay. I try not to chase draws especially if I’m forced all in on the turn and if I miss I have nothing. bro had 8 high😩
