Yes, most people brought their own cleansers. It’s just hard to make time.
Hello what happens if you can’t do push-ups when you first arrive?
If you don’t pass when you first get there, that’s fine. You’ll get put on some kind of remedial program possibly (depends on how badly you do). Same goes for the swim. You just need to pass all of it by the end of boot camp.
I know its been a while since you posted and I hope everything is going well!! Do you think (if you post again) you can make a video on stationary movements in the coast guard? No videos on this exist and I am hoping someone can do it! If you can, can you film yourself full body length and include the positions of Attention, Parade rest (front and rear views), At Ease, rest, hand salute, facing movements, and any other positions I missed. Thank you so much for hearing me out and I hope everything is going well with your service in the Coast Guard!
This is a super great idea!! I might have to post again for this reason. Never thought about doing facing movements.
@@erikapoling7946 that’s awesome I’m so glad you like my idea!!! Just remember when you do it to record yourself from full body length so we can see each position throughout your entire body at once

There’s still not much videos up about it, esp from a female’s perspective, and I see this was posted a couple years ago. I’m going to boot soon and want to prep as much as possible.

what happens if you can’t get your hair done in time ? or if you can’t get it as perfect as they want
Rhiana you’ll get yelled at or you may get some kind of IT (incentive training). One of your CCs should teach you how to do your hair properly. Hopefully you’ll have a female CC like I did who taught us well. Some girl’s hair will look perfect and other’s will look horrible. They will call you out and your whole company may get punished if you guys look like trash. Honestly your CCs will look for anything to punish you guys so don’t take it personally necessarily. I promise by the end of basic, you’ll be a pro.

Caitlyn Insinga it sucks, for one thing. But you make do. You’ve got your tampons and things you’re allowed to have on you. And you have bathroom breaks. You just make do with what you’ve got.
