In 1985, on Good Friday, in Tulsa, OK Keith began carrying a 12 foot wooden cross. He has now had the privilege of walking with Jesus and the cross over 28,000 miles through more than 185 countries on all seven continents. This journey with Jesus and the cross is a reminder of God‘s love for all people everywhere! “At the foot of the cross is where the very best of God meets the worst of mankind!”
Light & Darkness
Have you heard something like this recently, “Oh, how the darkness is growing, or increasing!” But is it really?! If light travels at 186,00 miles per second, how fast does darkness travel? Is darkness more powerful than light? Then, why does darkness flee when a light is switched, a candle is lit...or a person shining with God’s light and glory walks into a room?!
Maybe, it’s as simple as this? Darkness only increases to the degree that light decreases...or hides.
Yes. There is a WHOLE lot of darkness that seems to be covering our earth right now. Maybe, though, the problem is not that darkness is growing and becoming more powerful. Maybe the issue is that the light has retreated and is hiding? Could it be that we only shine our light where we feel comfortable (and safe) -- or in places where there is already light. Is it possible that we are only shining our light in the light? If so, isn’t this a waste of time, energy and money?!
Let’s let our light shine where it matters...in a dark, scary world. Let’s let our light shine in every dark and scary nook of this planet! And then, maybe the world won’t be so scary...or dark!

With God’s help, I’m back from Paraguay! Thanks for praying! It was a really special trip. It was so emotional; almost overwhelming to put the cross on my shoulder the first time and remember that my heart had stopped beating only seven months before. I can't even begin to express how emotional it has been to put the cross on my shoulder in another country, again. From the heart then, Keith. Soon we will be in eternity, with our Lord and our greater family. The former things will then be remembered no more,. So please let the heaviness, the weight of the world break your heart while you yet remain, to walk alone with the Spirit in His joy and suffering. We know the greatest life we can live is lived step by step and I believe you are on that path. The first time I saw you with that cross I thought you had some serious issues, Hawh! Sure was right about that hunh? Yes out of the heart come the issues of life, often too heavy to speak as it seems the heart might break. I am told the man who bore the cross was just a visitor from afar in Jerusalem that day.
