Vengeance In Her Bones by Malcolm Jameson | Weird Tales

The late Malcolm Jameson was a naval officer who turned to writing after he had retired from service. Your editor has always preferred those stories of his that dealt with deep water over those that dealt with deep space. There is a verisimilitude about sea stories that all the phony parallels about space-going navies can never attain. The feeling all seafarers get about their ships-the animism...

Great story.
My dad was a seaman, it ran in his blood, he would've loved this story 💚❤️
Hey, there aren't any alligators in South America. I'm starting to suspect this story isn't true at all.🤣
Perfect for my drive home from midnight shift 💚❤️ Thank you!
Investipating? A I is really bad for story telling.
These typos will be avoided in future videos
Very gripping!
My incredibly handsome, wonderful father was in the N avy ..Nyle was at Pearl Harbor when bombed . thank you so much for this awesome , heartfelt story ♥️ 🙏 i love you so much dad 💌 I'll be with you & mom soon 💕🦅🇺🇲
😊😊
I love, love, love this!
A true sailor story! Thank you.
A very interesting, and unusual tale. I really appreciate the detail of the Greek setting. Also, I know of the insurgents and fighting of the era depicted, for my father fought there as an American advisor and ally to the Greeks.
Great story, i always look forward to stories from the past. And yes the story lines sped up at the end, a few lines were skipped so the ending didn't seem as finished as usual 💚❤️
Muito bom
What happened to the end? It skips the ladt part, did he sell the unicorn?
This is the end of the story, check page 25 archive.org/details/Weird_Tales_v44n07_1952-11/page/n25/mode/1up
What is up with all these Chinese tales? Am about to toss it in.
Will increase variety in the next videos
Loved , The Unicorn 🦄 🤍 a charming story .
There's not a darn thing wrong with that story,it's not your story to tell anyway. Why should the ethnicity of the characters in a story matter? It doesn't change the story. Stop being so discriminatory & petty, dude. SMH🙄🙄
Good story!
@@WeirdWorldsTales Nothing wrong with a Chinese story or German story or Siberian story or whatever,do your stories as you do. We will listen. 👍🏼
❤❤❤❤❤
****SPOILER**** The deaths all have that in common, asphyxiation, drowning, suffocation, squeezing, they all have one thing in common, as the old antiques dealer, Mr. Sproull must’ve guessed… and the man for whom the spoons were first made for his funeral… his relatives each were given a spoon and it was said that six suffered deaths in the exact same way as the old man, who they had conspired to kill. They must’ve suffocated the old man with a pillow.
Nice lol now I'm getting those for my funeral jajajajajaja
To me, this is a masterpiece.
Loved this story
Now THAT was a great tale!
Good story but it would’ve been better if a woman told this story
I'm loving these old weird tales, they are creepy!
Yeah, also they have better quality than contemporary creepypasta
That was a great story! It definitly held my attention. 👍🏼👍🏼

As an aspiring Writer, and an autodidact, I went straight ahead into the Pulp rabbit hole a couple years ago to get some Craft and Literary History education. People fail to realize the immense Influence Pulp Fiction had and continues to have to this very day on all of Fiction. Awesome channel, thank you so much! 🙏
Interesting stories, thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it, more Weird Tales uploaded 3 times a week
Here from the tale foundry video looking forward to your videos keep up the great work!!!
Tale Foundry videos on Weird Tales was a fortunate coincidence, really hope our community grows and some contemporary writers continue this legacy
I enjoyed that story, unfortunately some pets are very possessive of their owners and feel very jealous when somebody else comes into their life, just like a human I suppose and it is understandable. I know I shouldn’t, but I feel very sad for Dog. I hope that doesn’t make me a bad person. I look forward to hearing more of your story. Thank you for sharing them with us. 👍🥂
Glad you enjoyed it, more to come 🫴🫴

We have more in common with animals than we realise, don't you think.
Tale Foundry sent me.
Same! It's a bit of pain to even find this story, so I'm glad it was uploaded to UA-cam, and on the same day as the Tale Foundry video too. 😁 Maybe Weird Worlds decided to upload it because of the Tale Foundry video. 🤔 Either that, or it's a very convenient coincidence/stand-alone-complex. 🙃
It's a total coincidence, i will go watch Tale Foundry video now
@@WeirdWorldsTales You have a subscriber in me with all these WEIRD TALES. Who voices this? Is it AI?
As for now i use AI, this voice is fully licensed for commercial use.... I would love to have a narrator but these stories only appeal to a small audience, so this is the only way to get them into the light maybe then some narrators would pick them up and narrate them
same here!
