yes, I noticed they changed the water alot, and they added random swimming fish inspired by age of mythology (I think) and changed the coral doodads (inspired by the warcraft3 coral) by increasing brightness and changing the colors to be more vibrant, as well as retexturing virtually everything.
Haha, dude, are you vaping while playing? I though I heard a smoke or vape sound at the start of the video. Otherwise you should do more commentary during the gameplay. Try sharing what your strategy will be and how you are going to execute it.
haha yes that is my gimmick I smoke weed drink booze and play video games on hardest possible to do difficulties while heavily inebriated -- I dub it professionally inebriated gaming at its best some games I do go into deeper ideology of strategy but for this game im just crawling through the single player at turtle speed, while smoking alot of weed

It is uploaded onto the NA servers, and is some what experimental. Host a match of octopus 2 sc futures, and choose ''use extension mod'' ''sc futures by kellym0'', in the lobby, and you should see hybrid as the 4th choice. If you want to see hybrids, you have to host it on the maps altered by me with the tag line ''starcraft futures'' or ''SC Futures'' Its somewhat glitchy and broken. Use f12 to see the full roster, and lemme know if your curious about a unit, and ill see to updating that unit for you to test. Hybrid ai still does not function. Not sure why yet. But the data mod is unlocked, so if you want to see how any thing works, I took the time to add hints inside the data for those who wish to learn.

thank you. no, not really, its sorta hidden, but publicly available to ''test'' its 3 different things, the map, ''octopus 2'', the data extension mod, ''starcraft futures by kellym0'', and the art resource, the ''sc2mapster art mod by kellym0'' all glued together. The map can be played standard skirmish and is public, the art mod is experimental in nature and may have 3d assets that crash potatoes but is other wise public too so you can use my models in your project just by adding my special dependency. The data extension mod ''is'' public but only playable on maps modified to use both the art and data dependencies, of which i've only done 4, octopus 2 being one. This is me attempting to confirm or deny successful changes to data, and to test functionality of units.

Not in a very long time I haven't, over a decade really, for this game any way. But there is a very neat community on what's known as CnC5.net that has this games online functional for multiplayer 100%. It is also where you can find the higher end resolution and higher quality 3d renderer options. I have been thinking about making a return to it, maybe ill cya there.

So what I get from this is Structures are scary, Terran can garrison, Queens are OP, Zerg structures spawn units appropriate to them on death (The dream <3) and you acutely organized all of the units so they're all acualy readable. Ngl I love you for the last part alone, and the Missile carrier has a 2nd "Light attack" from what I've seen.
lol, yes, thats the jist of it for now any way. queens op? maybe they need some nerfs, right now they spend resources and energy casting a copy paste medic heal beam, which is similar to a combination of both medics and scvs in data, scvs in the repair resource cost, per points of health, and medics from the beam/impact/sound actors changed to zerg equivalent ones. But at the rate of 18 health per second, as supposed to an scvs rate of 2 per second or a medics 4 per second, to replace transfusion the target spell, with an easier to use, auto aim auto cast medic heal beam spell, more useful in the heat of combat, the ''zerg super medic'' with ''super high damage melee and moderately high damage range attacks'' a more expensive unit then it is originally, more health, more damage, more abilities, and a new name (''Queens'' from starcraft1 have been brought back, thus ''queens'' are now ''brood mothers'') Zerg structures spawing units upon death, is a vastly wonderful idea in of its self = ) so broodlings with 3 seconds duration's birthed in sets of 3 to 5 is just lame and skirmish players know it. Protoss carriers have 3 (soon to maybe be 4) types of craft to send out, adding to the protoss carriers roster, thus making it more interesting and better as a unit, with a void ray beam attack for good measure. How ever the void ray beam attack seems to have a glitch right now, where it does not always fire, so, needs some work. The help menu organization is done by messing with the data fields known as Glossary, where you can set the priority level of the unit in the unit glossary, to order the units as you see fit, I happen to decided to order them by the order I personally think they should be built, combined with their unit types, so for example, terran infantry come before vehicles with wheels, and vehicles with wheels come before units with treads, and units with treads come before units with legs, going from big to small in each category. Same with protoss, smaller basic units leading to larger more advanced units, and zerg units ordered from their health pools, the more health they have the farther along the unit glossary they are, with the largest highest health units at the end. The last categories are buildings, so I can delete the tech tree section, without confusing players too much, the tech glossary is buggy by nature, and cannot be edited in some ways and seems hard coded (atleast to me)

@@kasothronos4434 I never finished a flying version of the greater spire model, so currently no the upgrade to greater spire renders it landed permanently only the basic spire can fly right now, perhaps I could change that in the future...

So Im going to say that Im happy to see more people play my mod, but know that the 2.0 version, which has some substantial changes to Nids (including adding a new titan) is coming out in the comming month. Anyhow, have fun with the mod.

Really cool and impressive. The tentacles cricle should rotate evenly with the main body to look more logical though. Right now it seems they get tangled up underwater with every turn around.
