    He deserved a higher placement. The stuff he plays is incredible. Also his dynamics are pretty sick.

      Lounge yeah that's not true lol, some inbred named James that was on line with me last year dropped a snare trying to put in on a stand and put a hole through the head, it was pretty funny, my instructor of course rekt his ass.

      Stevie Brule sounds like it was puncture in a good angle but they can take 9mm bullets there's a video of guys shooting at one constantly and nothing goes threw

    • @CBW_MT
      @CBW_MT 6 років тому

      it's probably fake, the thing that makes body armor bulletproof is the thickness of the kevlar. an Evans hybrid grey is only the thickness of 3-5 sheets of construction paper. low-end body armor is about 24 layers of kevlar. don't see how shooting it with a 9mm without breaking it would be possible since you could witness the bead go through the air as it pierced the drumhead and most high-end cameras cant even pick up a bullet traveling through the air which just shows you the extreme difference in velocity.

    No, I believe they're "blooing." He was from the Bluecoats I heard, and fans of the Bluecoats "bloo" to show appreciation and so on instead of just clapping.

  • @joshuaayon2626
    @joshuaayon2626 11 років тому

    are people "booing" at the end, cuz if they are then thats pretty messed up. im not a fan of Drew but i thought this was a kickass solo, and the booing was pretty disrespectful u.u

    • @De_Pieremegoggel

      Little late, but those people were probably BLOOing.. Y'know, as in BLOOOOcoats. The audience usually BLOOOs before Bluecoats' shows, as well.

    guys im just sayin it's not super hard to break through Kevlar heads. My friend i were just screwing around on a snare one time and it just broke. with enough force those things break really easy

    • @1whoDoesSimply
      @1whoDoesSimply 5 років тому

      Depends on how you tune the drum too. Tight drum? Head breaks easier

    Remo, Evans, and any other Corps, winterline, or any marching percussion anything don't use kevlar. It's an Aramid Fiber drumhead.

  • @sumbooodeeee
    @sumbooodeeee 11 років тому

    @joshuaccz actually the corps gave him permission to, since they were changing heads the next day or something. Disrespecting the corps?! Drew guy has stayed with them for six years in spite of other corps offering to pay his tour fee. No

  • @joshuaccz
    @joshuaccz 11 років тому

    He disrespected his corps by epically stabbing his drum. That's why he got 11th. Plus scojo teaches all the first place winners. This was better than Keelan.

  • @lorenzojsb
    @lorenzojsb 11 років тому

    true but still its pretty pretty unposible to break them. I think they where not put on corectly other whise he has wrong sticks.

  • @LucasSpurrell

    I'm pretty sure the Kevlar they use for body armor is a little thicker than a drum head. Just a little.

  • @xxzhoutaixx
    @xxzhoutaixx 11 років тому

    What? And he is right, they switch out heads almost every week, we have trucks that are designated for every size head and we have multiples of them 5-10+

  • @bassmidget
    @bassmidget 11 років тому

    I don't think it's that hard to break a snare head, a guy on my line has broke about 4 this season so far.
