121924 Christmas for Seniors Soroptimist
100 senior citizens in our area will get a special visit from Santa. Care packages have been put together by a group of volunteers sponsored by the Soroptimist of the Pahrump Valley and several other businesses and organizations. It is a mission set forth by Gina Emond, to reach out to seniors who may have no family or might live on a tight fixed income.

Santa and Mrs. Claus were escorted via Nye County Search and Rescue and Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue to the town's annual Community Christmas Tree lighting. KNYE Radio's Karen Jackson sponsors the tree and hosts the event. We caught up with Jackson at the festive celebration held in the parking lot of the Pahrump Nugget.
